Today I was with a friend on Kofce, which are without snow, Veliki Vrh was quite nicely snow-covered and wrapped in fog. Made a circular tour from Matizovec - hut on Kofce - cross - chapel - planina Kal - along the railway to Podljubelj. Weather below sunny, above fog, which occasionally broke up. Path more or less dry. Lp.

Yesterday, on 22.07.2011 I climbed with Jelendol to the wonderful Kofce plateau, weather was similar to Thursday, when I reached the top it almost completely cleared, so it was pleasantly warm in the sun, to not say hot. View towards Bohinj mountains justified the proverb that Bohinj has that fog, as it was completely foggy that way nasmeh

Near the hut friendly chamois greeted me, which I barely shook off, as they followed me to the hut entrance nasmeh

After snack (sour milk and delicious herbal tea, yummy mežikanje

) and short basking in warm or hot summer sun I headed to the valley.

Hribovc88, I believe the sour milk and tea were excellent, because I haven't had better žganci with milk yet and although the crowd was quite large, the service was quite fast, the "waiter" very friendly. All praise to Kofce.

We two today from Doline to Kav (up there Kal), from there on to Kofce... The most miserable part of the path was just to Kav, as the mud sank quite deeply in places. From Kav onwards on snow, just below Kofce it's real winter. nasmeh

I like this path mainly because of the lack of crowds, although we met four cyclists today a bit further from Kav... cyclists yes nasmeh

That was it. Otherwise foggy, not too cold, in the hut with good company... and another day passed nasmeh
