I also spotted somewhere "difficult summit chimney" but didn't notice it anywhere on path . So-called "belly crawling" is hardest part of path, bare knees suffered lightly on rock contact hehe. At start of climbing section on NE ridge some somewhat exposed spots I'd say. Fixed protections impeccable. Snow left no "consequences" .

I was there two years ago on the same path up and down, and it didn't pose any major problems for me.

I also went two years ago up from the Czech hut, no problems but it seemed to me one of the more demanding variants. Only at one part you have to put the backpack down and crawl under the overhang, backpack beside you, if you want to take it to the other side there's a precipice. But there's enough space. Good luck. Boštjan

Yesterday walked the path Suhadolnik-Grdi graben-Kokrska Kočna-Jezerska Kočna-Zdolška škrbina-Grintovec-Kokrsko sedlo-Suhadolnik. Under Grintovec a small snowfield, which can be crossed without ice axe since the snow is south-facing.

Thanks boby, I work by intuition and find what attracts me, if the nature contrast is right, it's the icing on the cake. But I'm not a photographer. Best to mountaineers

hi, I'm interested if it's really necessary to leave backpacks before the place where you have to crawl on all fours? I just can't imagine going further without water and change of clothes, and I'd be a bit scared for the backpack .

you can crawl also with backpack. When I was on Kočna we passed backpacks to each other with two friends. Otherwise those before us had it on belly or dragged it behind. Best

You found the mountain poppy, what did you think of viharnik with the wrinkled little lady? Cheers!

I didn't know about the mountain poppy, but the little lady surprised me a bit in the early morning hours on the secured climbing path. She was close to seventy, but descended nimbly and routinely carefully. Probably many ascents behind her. For the rocky narrow spot by the huge vertical rock, you have to crawl about three meters, without backpack it's much easier and safer for inexperienced, because the ledge although overhanging inward, part of it slopes downward, hands free for grip then. I left mine by the path too, because of winter long poles, they would get stuck on the rock ceiling. Kremžarjeva path itself is well passable in good weather (secured), somewhat easier than Plemenice, but longer timewise. From Češka hut to summit 2:40h with almost 1000m elevation. Total pure walking ascent time 3:25h.

This weekend I plan both Kočnas namely Suhadolnik - Jezerska Kočna (via Grdi graben) - Kokrska Kočna - Kokrsko sedlo - Suhadolnik. Do I need to return from Jezerska to Dolška škrbina and then to Kokrska Kočna and are there enough signs to find the path? Lp, Nataša

Nata 24, the marks are everywhere and nicely guide you from one Kočna to the other.

I went to Kokrska Kočna. There, towards the top of the scree, how do you continue? (above 2200 m) Do you follow the scree to the end or go on the rocks on the left side? - That's about 10 min above a big rock or boulder by the path.

Everything is well marked. Go left into the rocks, not secured but plenty of holds and not demanding. Only one end to the summit secured with a chain. Nothing demanding.
