I did the route on Wednesday. Via Slovenska Gor to Ledine and on to Carinthian Rinka. Below the summit it would really be good if someone fixes the protections to make the path safer. You notice it especially if returning the same way back.
Last year I did the route to both Kočne and I can say that for me the path to Carinthian Rinka was more demanding. Of course everyone has their own opinion.

I add that there is no logbook, except for some wet sheets. There is also no logbook at Styrian Rinka.

Rinka Waterfall - Cross Carinthian Rinka - return via Turkish Gully
Departure 6.30 return 13.30 parking lot
Conditions: path to the junction for Carinthian Rinka without issues, except when crossing the bridge before the stairs on the path to the source of Savinja. The railing is broken, but a new fixed rope has been installed. Caution is advised.
On the path to Carinthian Rinka there is still quite a bit of snow, patches 10-20m, snow was quite hard, ice axe recommended. The last 200 vertical meters the fixed rope was icy, as was the rock, via ferrata gloves were not a good choice, almost left the pads of my fingers on the rope
Almost the entire path to the summit the wind showed that it's winter in the mountains, summit was sunny, windy, below sea of clouds.
Path to Turkish Gully also with snow but southern.
The path through the gully was quite adrenaline-pumping due to falling rocks!!! On the way back to Okrešelj, met some hikers heading towards Ledine.

How are the conditions on the path from Frischauf hut to Cross via Turkish Gully? Is there still any snow, has anyone hiked the path recently?

Today to Carinthian Rinka via protected path and descent through Turkish Gully...protections ok.

From Logarska via climbing path to Cross-Skuta-D.Hrbet-Mlinarsko sedlo-Češka koča-Baba-Mrzla gora and back. 3400m ascent. I have to highlight the first part of the path! The path to Cross is more or less snowy in the last 200-300m of ascent. Not recommended. All other mentioned paths above are dry, only Frischauf path has a little in the upper part but no issue.

Ledine - Carinthian Rinka - Little Rinka - Bivouac under Skuta - Kamniška Bistrica.
Snow patches start above the hut at Ledine. On the protected section winter conditions - snow holds almost to the top. Strongly recommend ice axe and crampons, and of course via ferrata gear. Snow mostly breaks through or at least holds well, but there are also fully icy sections. Fixed ropes and pegs are in quite sad condition in a few places.

Koroška Rinka and Turska (24.11.17)
I repeated my midweek workout, which was after work. Now the start was at Rinka Waterfall. The icy path brought me to Čajz Shelter. I put on gaiters only at the beginning of the gully and of course all winter gear. Conditions in the gully are good. The path to Koroška Rinka is without issues. On return from it I also climbed Turska gora. Descent of course with headlamp back to the valley, as it was already dark.

I'd also suggest to redbull to stop wearing those blinding yellow shirts. Who wants to see him all handsome and bouncy on our beautiful hills. The mountains almost can't stand out and how are we poor others supposed to imagine the real conditions then.
