According to one of the event participants, the representative of group 1313, who we probably see in the first pic by user ''rs56'', climbed from Lepena straight in original gear from those times. Really curious how it held up, if the boot (still) is waterproof at all, are the clothes warm? They probably had proper materials back then..

Karletto, this gentleman next to me didn't climb in uniform, but changed in the hut. I know because I know the person personally. Probably some other person

Hello! On Sunday (if nice weather holds) I plan to go to Krn lakes and wonder if anyone has been there recently? What are the conditions like? Crampons necessary or possible without?

New Year's Eve coming so it'll be crowded. Don't know if crampons needed but good to have them anyway.

On Monday we were at the hut at the seven lakes - there too we met a nudist who was jumping around the hut , then he even bathed in the lake... .

Krn, Seven... are you guys joking about this nudist or did someone really lose it?

No, we're not joking... As happy as we were to enjoy peace at the seven (not yet the season, it was Monday), we were that much more unpleasantly surprised by what we saw. There really was a nudist up there!

My thoughts the same...I enjoy birdsong, frogs, solitude which is rare at Krn Lake...then...obviously the swimmer on the sign is too small and invisibly crossed out?!

No,no, one naked dude won't deter visitors to these beautiful places, right?

No, no... well, it also fits among the current conditions, hehe, a bit of a joke, anyway I don't approve of such behavior, because the sign with the crossed-out swimmer isn't there for decoration, right?!

I join the opinion. That just doesn't belong in the mountains.

I understand. But I think one swimmer in May really does no harm.

I don't agree ... like it's ok if everyone throws just one scrap of paper on the ground, cuz it's only one?! Well, so no debate develops, that's how it is... everyone their own way.
