Krn Lake

Today from Lepena to Krn Lake. The previous post excited us, although we needed 2.5 hours to the starting point. Wonderful day, some clouds, lots of sun, warm and also some soft snow. For the end of the path also to the source of Lepenjica, to the waterfall called Slap. Now it's very full of water and roaring. Very beautiful places, full of peace and escape from everyday life. In the Trenta valley lots of hikers and cyclists, parking in Lepena quite full. nasmeh
Short stop after Lake Jasna, still quite some path to the starting point.1

At the lake you sit and stare. We've never seen one like it. It was still frozen only on the other side, but today it's probably already different. Good luck and stay safe to all nasmeh

Oh yeah, it's different, especially a bear is lurking around the trail marker, otherwise friendly, but you never know which one you run into velik nasmeh I was yesterday, from the lake I climbed also to the hunting hut on pl. Polje, where the encounter with the bear also happened. Still huge snow, everything still covered. And snakes are already lively, not to say enraged velik nasmeh

Marjan, but obviously he wasn't so hungry that we two would smell good to him, luckily mežikanje Or he ate some marmot before, because shortly before the encounter they were whistling higher above the pasture. I was still wondering why marmots call out when no one is around anywhere. Of course I meant people, then the bear surprises me. But the encounter with the bear is really an unforgettable experience and that he then lounges 50-80 m away as if alone is really priceless nasmeh

Samo, if you didn't get the joke in my first sentence, then there's really no help for you. He probably wouldn't have eaten us, but he could have attacked us because Nessy would pose a threat to him. That's possible, right?

What's wrong? Polona described the tour nicely. The bear is a local in these parts. That's what they told me. I remember there were tracks a few years ago on January 1st, when I was at the shelter under Špička. In summer the former keeper Fux told me he saw it in front of the shelter.

Pikica, thanks. I can't take credit for these two pics, as Mrs. Darja sent them to me, she came to Planina Polje behind me, then we admired Edi the bear together. She has a much better camera than my phone, that's why the pics are so good. pikica1, come to our parts, currently you can meet him/them on every walk. But something like that not yet, in the last 14 days I've met him (not the same) 3x, 2x even from the car. No more than 5 minutes on foot from home. Location:Sodražica-Loški Potok-Bloke...LP
