On Sunday we headed towards Lake Krn. On the way to Lepena we met two vans driving inappropriately fast and meeting them on the narrow bend was chilling, but it ended well. At the enlarged parking lot (I hadn't been there for a while) we immediately got a spot to park. We set off on the trail right away, met quite a few people on the way, all friendly and in good spirits, that one relaxes just from that......when I saw the lake and the whole surrounding landscape again, I marveled again at the beauty of our mountains. The little dog recovered right away and bathing in the cold water did her good.....The hut was full and they served us typical goodies. Especially the walnut strudels were really good, even though the butter sauce wasn't the best. It was nice to observe the people in the hut too..especially the excitement in their eyes....

  Well I didn't swim, just dipped my feet....Dog too..
and I wasn't the only one, there were quite a few dogs too...Can't even that be done.....

I wondered how long it'd take for a comment on the third picture ....I wasn't wrong, ....not long . If the pup dips paws and cools off, I assume (tho not a botanist) nature will survive.

If researchers found that Lake Krn is the second most polluted high-altitude lake in Slovenia, better to follow their instructions.
Or we just play smart on our own...

14.11 there was no trace of snow, foggy, clear towards the top. Clear sky in the evening.
