"Expert analysis of conditions" you get on site, not on the forum. And the biggest ballast are criticisms from those who don't post anything otherwise. Including my today's one.

This year the cake will say 12 years already.
Parking lots at the start for the Ljubelj Hut and in front of the store are cleared, the large gravel parking lot is not yet. The road to the hut is prepared for sledding, the cobbles are broken.

Today, on Tuesday, conditions exactly as Tadej described. Pictures identical too. Despite the closed hut (Mon. and Tue.), quite a few visitors.
Half joking, half serious: on the path there are quite a few "bumps" and "holes" behind them; so for those with more sensitive a** eek I recommend a thicker cushion on the sledvelik nasmeh.

Tadej, you whetted my appetite for this destination with your morning report on conditions on this trail. My husband and I with friends headed towards Stari Ljubelj at 11am from the parking lot, thinking the sun would greet us in full swing at the top, but it wasn't quite so. At the top real winter conditions, wind, fog, no view, hut packed full, plenty of people in front of it, as well as all the way on the path...
But on return we were rewarded, as the sky started opening and snow-covered trees got fairytale charm, some views of surrounding mountains opened too, so we got back to the car sated with beauty and in good mood. nasmehmežikanje
