Nice Sunday walk in beautiful winter idyll to the hut on Lubnik for tasty bean stew and cracklings. Path well trodden, small crampons really useful on descent.

Well, maybe today was a bit too beautiful a day just for Lubnik, but it was worth it. Ascent along the ridge, which at this time offers no views through the branches, but luxuriant spring-green color right at every step. Abundance of greenery that calls for admiration. Really nice path, full of silence and birdsong, where hikers are practically absent.
Return along the other western ridge, where there is no path at first, it only appears in the second part of the path, when the ridge ends a bit above Zalubnikar.

Our path starting points today were different, return joint, definitely much shorter for me than the ascentnasmeh.

Today again to Lubnik. Same hill, always different. Different colors, new views you haven't noticed before, new paths. Especially if you stray a bit from the main path, a bit on purpose, some unintentionallynasmehnasmeh.

You have a beautiful hill above Škofja Loka. Not exactly easy reach (well, depends on fitness), gotta puff a bit. Yesterday I went from bus station in Škofja Loka past the castle over Gabrova gora, down the ridge path to Podlubnik. Not many visitors, probably just Lubnik locals, ričet tasty, views beautiful and path itself interesting.

Even if you don't expect anything special, it's always nice and something new too nasmeh
This time I noticed new addition, nice tables and chairs. You could just settle innasmehnasmeh. But I still prefer to sit outsidenasmeh.

Otherwise path Lubnik–Gabrovo–Veštrski mlin slightly frozen up top, rocks dry, below Gabrovo bit muddier.

PS: Wasn't on foot of course, but bike. velik nasmeh
