Beautiful Tadej, nice this Škofjeloško hill country, not to mention Idrijsko, Cerkljansko, Polhograjsko and Tolminsko, but what when all together is not exactly as they say, around the first bendsadrolling

now the view from the top is nicer, since they "shortened" the bushes or trees a bit, better view towards the Julians and Karawanks.

Tadej, really nicenasmeh. Me too I'd add that you're looking at our house. Otherwise yeah, those trees kinda mess with the distant view all around, so really good if they cut them. Agree, Škofjeloško hribovje is really nice, good for shorter hikes.

Today this sun was really pulling me somewherevelik nasmehnasmeh...Since I see it every day but haven't been to the top for quite a while, I decided yesterday to go today again to our local daddynasmeh. Since lunch needed to settle a bit and sunset starts around 16:30, I started only after 15:30. Warm, warm and warm againnasmehvelik nasmeh. I'm also amazed at nature and wondering when it'll bring some snow to our valleyzmedenzadrega. Somehow I can't shake the feeling that flowers are sprouting and acorns are nicely germinating. Saw quite a few of thosemežikanje. About 10min before the top the forest turns orangenasmehnasmeh. How nice. At the top it gusts strongly a few times, reminding me to put on hat and windbreaker right away. Sunset spectacular. Warms your heart watching it and merging with naturenasmeh. Sunset follows me a good part of the way. Soon I reach the start, namely St. Thomas. Happy and glad I used the nice day.

The hut is closed from 3.1 to 29.2 according to data. Also on Saturdays and Sundays, and can someone tell me if the summit stamp which is normally in the hut is maybe outside somewhere. A box or something. Thanks.

Otherwise I think there's no stamp or logbook anywhere outside, well at least I didn't find it last time.

At this time when the hut is closed the shelter in the hut basement is open on weekends. It's also stocked and I think the stamp is available. (at least previous years it was. All info Phone PD office: 04 51 20 667

hut is open either upstairs or basement no problem for stamps and books. Only Mondays more kinda-closed.
Supply also OK, basement or upstairs.
Yeah where are times when shelter with cook was a bit lower.

Since Lubnik is my closest 1000er, I went there after lunch. Started below Gabrovo village. Path well trodden everywhere of coursenasmeh, so boldly onward. Didn't use gaiters at all, nor crampons, though both in backpack. Quite a few visitors, so sometimes no space for all hikerszmedeneek. At hut -12°C but you don't feel itnasmehmežikanje. Little after 17 head to valley. Really today super nice again, especially from different start.
Aja, basement closed weekdays apparently, but can sign notebook at mountain hut entrance.

The hut on Lubnik is normally supplied in Jan. and Feb. and open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Checked today.(notice on the door)

Yesterday to Lubnik from Škofja Loka. Need to be careful due to icy rocks under snow. Microspikes and gaiters not necessary. Hut open, although PZS and PD Škofja Loka sites give different info.

This morning around Ljubljana it still offered a bit for some shorter peakjezen, choice fell on good old Lubnik with roof on top. Snow on the path, sometimes surprisingly lots, but doesn't bother. More annoying slippery ground and where little, wallowing in mud inevitable. Heavy snow consequences very visible, broke many deciduous, some horribly split completely. So some necessary climbing under, over or around fallen trees on paths. Bridges still there. Deciduous not yet bare and defiantly shake nice golden branches and drop snow down neck. No one on ridge path, more fresh air seekers towards Škofja Loka. Hut open, crackling pieces still as big as alwaysnasmeh and few hours in best company despite squelching boots nicely spent.
Sora has swollen, but in the stream bed there are whole trees that stood elsewhere not long ago1
The smallest trail marker, not much bigger than a coin. Probably for snails and such small animals. :)2
nature plays with patterns and colors by itself3
a minute for the views, then they were covered4
View from the top, no sun, but it's beautiful in its own way5
gymnastics, so that not only the legs suffer. Lots of support.6

Today to Lubnik from Skofja Loka, part of path on Loska educational trail through Gabrje. The path was nice, a bit wet and fog hid nice autumn colors of nature. Hut closed today, so sip of drink from bidon, no view of course, next time. Lp

Parked in Škofja Loka, then past the castle to Lubnik. Snow exists only as ice, at individual spots. Returned via ridge path, which is quite "time-consuming". Lp.

Hello,

on Wednesday I might go in the morning, maybe already at 7am to Lubnik, on one of the paths from Škofja Loka. Never been before.

Weather forecast:

Monday: light rain all day, more in evening.
Tuesday: some snow till morning, rest cloudy.
Wednesday: no precipitation, even sun.

are paths from Škofja Loka currently trodden?
Gaiters probably mandatory, crampons too, right?
any special hazards on path?
will it be ok for Lubnik on Wednesday per forecast?

Paths well trodden (today) At least small crampons recommended. Gaiters not needed. Go on path from Pod Lubnika (ca 80min). Can go even if something falls as usually walked soon.For more info send to ZS. Pictures not from today !!
