Today to Lubnik from Podpulferca. Lots of cyclists, hikers and all kinds of people who wanted to watch the Franja marathon. No special problems on the path, I went straight along the road past all the hustle and a family of rabbits to Naceta, had a snack there, then to the top of Lubnik and back to Škofja Loka. Those who have a slightly unsteady step maybe just be careful, because some places are a bit wet from rain and you can slip a bit on mud and stones.

Darxta, path from Soteske along zigzag cart track also leads to Lubnik, but you have to leave it before the end on the right side and steeply up (then you reach an abandoned path where there is a worn cable, then to the left and again steeply up, at times slight climbing). Exit of the path is at the chapel left of the hut..

Today the path to Lubnik from the direction of Breznica was without branches and normally passable. The responsible ones cleaned it well  But at the access from the valley on the road there is a sign "No traffic allowed", the road is normally passable and drivable

The path from Soteska has at least two exits. First is somewhere in the good half of the road, when it branches left. We turn left on the overgrown road to the end where at the end of the road the trail is immediately visible. The trail is quite visible and leads us to the ridge path. Second exit is along the road right to the end. A few meters above the end of the road we will find the hunting path which is also marked with red dots. The path has two variants, the first leads straight up to the chapel which is right under the hut, the second transversely to Zalubnikar where we can continue on the marked path or along the western ridge.

Today midday a quick trip to Lubnik. Started the path from Gabrovo, then continued along the ridge path to the top of Lubnik. Still quite a few hikers. At the top it was blowing quite strongly, so I turned around and back to the valley.

Today on Lubnik. Nice trekking tour also suitable for running. Start at Najdihojca via Gabrovo, where local guide Rex joined, to the top and back the same way. Walking about an hour up. View wasn't the best, no special frost up there. No snow anywhere anymore, hut with friendly staff is also open.

Since cloudy weather was forecast for today in the hills, Lubnik along the ridge seemed the right choice. Already at the beginning there were two boletus along the path. From the ridge, when half is behind us, today quite muddy, otherwise quite strenuous path, the soul path begins, when we go up and down among rocks covered with moss and very special tufts of grass, all accompanied by pleasant bird song. On Lubnik this year new staff, which is not the friendliest. Well, give them some more time! On the whole path hardly any encounters with people! I recommend this path, especially to those who like more silence on the way.

On a nice day you gotta go hiking. I chose Lubnik, which is handiest for me, and good for fitness too. After short weighing I chose the ridge path and no regrets.
Bird life along the path was diverse: great tits, crested tits, waxwings, great woodpeckers, wrens, wood warblers, finches, a black woodpecker called too. Nature nice, views from top exceptional. Obviously the hutkeeper didn't notice, as he frowned quite sullenly on the terrace, barely responded to greeting. Probably heard about weather worsening. But the tea is good!

Since the road to Prtovč was a bit icy, we changed plan and parked at Sv. Tomaž below Lubnik. Great ascent on unmarked steep path that brings you right below Lubnik summit. This is ascent in the western ridge area, which today was romantically whitened with new fallen snow and shone by afternoon sun. Really a path for hedonists!

Same was on New Year's Eve night, really magical trip, up without crampons, back just in case. As the predecessor said, fairy-tale!

Ločanka, Škofjeloška hills aren't particularly well known to me. It's been several years since I last visited Lubnik, but given current conditions in high mountains I'll wait a bit before heading off on some tour to Julians. I'd ask for some tip, where in your parts. Last evening of the year I went to Polhograjska Grmada, yesterday actually during drive the destination changed and instead of Ratitovec I ended up on Lubnik. Thanks and happy 2015!

You could ascend Križna gora, Planica, Blegoš, sv. Ožbolt, Osolnik, there it's always tracked, and always nice. And I love Tošč a lot. Of course Ratitovec too. Here I listed just some hills, there are more paths to each. Basically all nice.
