Lubnik Hut

On marked, so direction Gabrovo, about halfway to village it turns right up the hill to ridges.
Old ridge one... that's the one going a bit more left towards Selška valley, towards former wooden bridge in gorge which is long gone and comes direct to top from other side, but hardly anyone uses it?

Today on the most classic path to Lubnik. For me that means start in Podlubnik-Kobila-before village Gabrovo on the right more hidden path-summit-return along the ridge, before Mali Lubnik branch right back to the path towards Gabrovo. For return I put on crampons to make it safer.

Today to the Lubnik hut a bit differently. We went on the trail by public bus. Our path went to Sopotnica. A bit on the road, a bit across meadows on the abandoned path to the stream. There we had organized help to cross the stream. In Breznica we had refreshments, then to the start of the path to Lubnik from Breznica. From there the path is marked - in a good half hour we are at the hut. The hut has top offer of already autumn dishes. Back to Škofja Loka on foot via the Na Gabrovo path - some on marked path, some on unmarked paths. We arrive in Škofja Loka at the Sora power plant via the little bridge.

With the help of friendly locals across the stream.

Then across a small bridge and along the Sora river to bypass Podlubnik and reach the town center.

Velkavrh, when I come over the little bridge in the last picture, I'm not yet in the center of Škofja Loka, but still in Podlubnik. The nearby kindergarten also has address Podlubnik 1.

I head to Lubnik when fitness starts to wane, and this was the third time this year. Up the classic via Kobila, back along the ridge.

Yesterday Lubnik from the balcony, today on its summit.
