Yesterday we went up Župančičeva gully to Little Mojstrovka. Start in the morning after 8. Walked on footprints. Nice steps made. Towards Župančičeva gully there was loose snow. In first part of gully one smaller rock step, goes nicely over it. In middle part snow ok. In second part two smaller rock steps. Towards top again loose, sugary snow. In second part more caution needed. Continued path to Big Mojstrovka. Descent then via South path back to Vršič.

Where yesterday there was half of Slovenia... or rather half of former Yugoslavia velik nasmeh

Little Mojstrovka is already quite bare up top and if you want the whole way on snow you have to go deep into the gully. The Big one is much better and also much less crowded.

Today via Župančičeva gully to Little Mojstrovka. I had Pripravniška in plan but it was flooded, no footprints, went rather right where there are steps velik nasmeh

. Path itself without any special features, but still so wonderful, I really like that the exit from the gully is practically under the summit. On path and summit some hikers, nothing excessive, just right so we were not scared velik nasmeh

I intended to go up Hanzova, but there are still quite a few snow patches to cross so if anyone heads up this weekend take gear. I went then via the southern, which is completely dry and normally passable. At the top of the ridge there's one snow patch that I crossed purely out of joy velik nasmeh

. The upper part of the mountain was more or less always in fog, below beautiful sunny weather. Met three Czechs, that was all. Also for Velika Mojstrovka winter gear is needed, as the passage where the path goes is still flooded with snow.

Right at the entrance to the secured part of the path you need to cross a slightly uncomfortable snowfield.

Today I decided on Little Mojstrovka and I have no regrets nasmeh

super views, pleasant wind that eased the heat.. I went up from Vršič, back down to Kranjska Gora with a stop at Tičarjev dom nasmeh

In this scree this via ferrata cable comes in handy

Yesterday my friend and I ascended from Vršič over Grebenc to Little Mojstrovka. We walked the whole path with crampons, just below the summit we entered a cloud, wind and diffuse light, so there were no views at all. For the first meters except our skis we saw nothing, then it opened up and we had excellent skiing down to the treeline, where it started raining. Real April weather. At home the friend realized he had no Kohl skins for the skis. He probably forgot them during the preparation for skiing by the rocks below the summit or at the end of skiing, on the lower trail towards the abandoned pasture under the road. Today, 30.4., the friend repeated the tour and found the lost skins. The conditions were better.

Almost on all pics there is still snow and if I see right, on pic 19 ice axe also in use.?

On picture 19 they look more like poles to me. But I agree, based on the pictures the path doesn't look almost entirely dry. Now the snow is rotten, but in case of possible cooling I wouldn't just write off winter gear.

We used the ice axe there because we had planned to go to Big Mojstrovka too, but we preferred to turn back.

Road dry, helmet on head, gaiters up, 12-tooth crampons and ice axe in hand, up the normal path, under Vratca it slid a day before. Almost always does. Snow was a bit soft on the sunny side, otherwise quickly refreezes at sunset. To Little Mojstrovka and then traverse and also to Big Mojstrovka. There under Big Mojstrovka steep traverse due to snow deposit. Not cold, moderate wind was blowing. Road worse, heavy steering, tosses in car, but at least free massage.
