What are these sudden questions about "one ice axe"!!!
Whoever asks that should wait until July for the high mountains!

Depends on experience, classic goes from Vrsic through Vratca and along the ridge to the top (ice axe and crampons), then you have various gullies where two ice axes are more common, experienced company, maybe belay.. Based on the question I'd recommend the normal route, so through Vratca. Good luck

Yesterday excellent conditions for ascent and then skiing from Mala Mojstrovka. Snow very varied. Path well tracked. We used crampons for the last part of the ascent to Grebenec and then with skis on backpacks reached the top, from which we skied to Drevesnica.

Late afternoon to Mala Mojstrovka via Pripravniška gully. Good conditions in the gully itself, but when I got to the south side it became warmer and warmer, hot. I went up the ridge where it was blowing a little and cooled off. After break descend back to Vršič. Warm at Vršič, without gloves I could walk around there all day.

in the middle it sank 30 cm, higher up not

It was 2 days ago. Up Pripravniška, plan was further along the ridge, but weather prevented it. And besides weather too southern conditions.
And if it looked like Pripravniška would break through in upper part in few days... but from today probably different again.

Mala Mojstrovka this morning. If skiing back to Drevesnica, it is skiable continuously to 10m before the path to the road.
Conditions otherwise OK. On the summit it was actually quite hard to ski.

One skis down to Drevesnica here. The track is 10m lower.

From the pass, view towards Vratca, Butinarjeva and Pripravniška gully, etc.

I was on Saturday on Mojstrovka via the south path. But based on what I saw, winter gear is mandatory on Hanzova. Regards

we haul winter gear. Saw on FB a pic of the north face and Hanzova will be in snow a while longer. Regards and good luck mežikanje

Today regeneration walk to Mojstrovka and Šitna glava, way too many tourists/people for my taste zavijanje z očmi

, at Šitna at least peace and I "chilled" (read: rested) with sheep velik nasmeh

Countless times been to Mala Mojstrovka from all directions, only via Šitna glava never, and when climbing to ridge on Saturday thought, turn right let's see. Enthused by route though unmarked well followable, only from Šitna glava on need to look better, I went edge then spotted path few meters lower. Gorgeous weather, wonderful day and incredibly few people on summit, as crazy at pass below. Wonderful morning slightly spoiled only by Tičarjev dom visit as at 11:15 on terrace friendly lady said radler out. jezik

Where else but as high as possible so it's not too hot already at the starting point. I choose Vršič-Šitna glava, a few drops of rain above Vršič chased all tourists from the hills back to Vršič. So higher up I didn't meet anyone else. Up turned into the gully and cut the bend above the scree. On Šitna glava dark clouds were chasing over the peaks. But later, when they withdrew, continued to Mala Mojstrovka. Still to Velika Mojstrovka, where a few drops cooled me. Didn't continue further, but descended to Vratca and there still to one peak. Weather improved quite a bit. And back via Trenta, Bovec, Gorenja vas.

Went up Hanzova to MM the day before yesterday. Dry, no problem. Down the southern towards Vršič, all fine too, just on the scree the path gets lost, caution therefore if there is fog.

With a friend we ascended from Vršič to all three Mojstrovkas and returned via Drevesnica back to the starting point. Path interesting with some easy climbing. From below Mojstrovkas to Drevesnica need to find abandoned little path, which probably runs under Grebenc.
We tried more under Suhim vrh, but had to go left through bushes and found it. Since not many hikers go on it, it disappears at times. Circular path worth the effort. More at: https://www.gore-ljudje.si/Kategorije/Novosti/mojstrovke-8

Yesterday on Mali Mojstrovka via Hanzova. The path itself without peculiarities. Would recommend renewing the markings and maybe adding some more, especially in the last part of the ascent.
