Today on Golak a bit windy, minus 7 degrees, sunny, five to ten cm powder, base icy in places. For crampons too little snow-ice. Looks like tonight more will be added. LP, Mirko

You'll reach the start without issues, no snow in this part of Slovenia at that height.

Tomorrow morning great to go to Golak. Expect at least 20 cm new snow tonight. Tell when back, tomorrow

Today at 11 on Golakih about half meter new snow. Trail trodden. Lightly windy. Car access to Predmeja, road salted, wet, clear. Further plowed.
No more ads for Golake one day before, lots of hikers today on trail

Mirko, I know you know well that Golaki (with ad or without!) rarely empty. Justified! Peeked in hut maybe, what's atmosphere? LP

Earlier at 16 I was on Golak. Car left by road at ramp, though can go to parking. Just above hut little drizzle. At top little windy and sleet falling. Trail really trodden. Well, party too and stopped at hut downhill. Hut full. Music, food, hutkeeper costumed, -super!!!

Party went from Predmeja to Golak (to korenino?). Snow starts couple min above Predmeja. Trail nice trodden, snow bit wet and no ice. Top (+5°C). From top went past hut under Golaki (no ice) and back to hut Čavn. Whole trail snow (frozen) so full nice walk. At Čavn front hut (+5° at 17). Road to Predmeja to asphalt end clear, but first slope down trail to Predmeja icy, then no panic.

Since all nice things pass quickly, the last day of our vacation came quickly too. For the last day we chose a peak in Trnovski forest. The road from Ljubljana to parking where we left the car dragged a lot. Because of that we stepped even happier towards the hut, where we were very quickly. To the hut path was dry, from hut to summit we walked on snow track. Despite warm sun shining the track was icy in some parts. When we got to the top we were rewarded with nice view all around. On top it was quite cold as cold wind blew now and then. It chased us off the top sooner than we planned. For safer step Nives put on kremžarji before leaving. At hut we sat a bit more, and satisfied went to the car and drove to Ljubljana. We hope to report back soon. Nives and Brane

Today was on Golak. Clear no cloud, on top bit windy. At 11h (+5°C). Up went past hut under Golaks, down other side. Nothing icy.

Looks like winter this year doesn't give up easily. How much snow in meters or cm on the Golaks?

Today I was on Golak and it had covered it nicely. Went from end of asphalt to hut, up steep, right past hut to sign. To sign quite a lot bare. Further to top snow. Now and then a bit collapsed, no panic, bit under top at ski pole - 40 cm, so on top about 50-60 cm. LP

You can go easily. No ice, no cliffs, no avalanches either, but it will probably be a bit slippery and sinking.
