Webcam at the ramp for paying the ecological tax next to the road to Mangart Saddle. Why pay this if the road to the top of Mangart Saddle has been closed for a couple years already?!!! True they finally started road repairs this year, but in the lower part between Log and Strmec. True though, the road there was in total ruin, especially dangerous on bike descents.

That's a prize question why on STATE ROADS, namely roads to Mangart Saddle and Vršič, fees go to some semi-private orgs.
With that guy at Vršič unable to answer who covers vehicle repair costs when sheep hide in shade right by car, in short for paying whatever you get nothing!

And at which valley parking lot does the parking fee collector cover vehicle repair costs?
Probably only where you pay actual parking and insurance included. For few euros you won't get it.

Mixed up are ecological tax (Slovenian law has no regulation for motor vehicles on mountain roads in national/landscape parks) and toll/parking fee. Latter justified at organized spots as parking area where legal public/private entity got permits. Only next level insurance.
