What MANGRT wrote for yesterday still held for early this morning. It doesn't seem superfluous to emphasize that crossing snowfields despite warm weather without ice axe can be risky at least a few more days. Snow freezes overnight due to dry air.

A few days ago, in nice weather we decided to go to Mangart. We chose the route  , from Mangart saddle we went left down to bivouac Nogara and from there entered ferrata Via Italiana. Ferrata Via Italiana is excellent, varied, airy, respectful and full of energy .
When we exited the ferrata back to Mangart saddle we climbed Slovenian to Mangart summit. It had been a long time it was my strong wish to go to Mangart, it came true, first time up there and views charmed me, as always  .
At the summit we sat, enjoyed all around us and descended Italian. Slovenian up is a bit steeper but nicely accessible, Italian down was also fine.
We have to repeat this, it was  .

It looks exactly as it should (via ferrata), I like it For now it's still on the TO DO list, I hope to hike this part of the path to Manart Saddle already this fall. Last year I was on Mangart three times and only watched the ferrata from afar... now I think the time has come

Today on Mangart from the saddle to Bivak Nogara and then to Via Italiana, where there was huge traffic. Before us a group from Ribnica, behind us another group, it looked like spiders had taken over the ferrata. Otherwise pleasant in the wall as it pulled a little. Then via the Slovenian route to Mangart. At the top pleasant around but fogs were chasing each other, views poorer!
We returned via the Italian route, when we reached the saddle it was blowing and Mangart was in fog.

lozarbogdan... bravo to us . Thanks for the pic and nice company up there high above the ground... maybe we meet again sometime. We safely arrived back at the Belopeška lakes. I must admit, the path was quite long and strenuous especially to Bivak Nogara, it really drags.

Hello,
what is the elevation difference from Bivak Nogara to the junction with the path from the saddle?
Is 2.30 hours at normal pace enough to reach the summit (start Nogara)?
