On Saturday 11.5. conditions were similar to 22.4., soft snow that melts fast, some tiring wading in the last part of the path, no škaf yet. But given the amount of snow, it's a question what kind of škaf there'll be this year.

Thanks, Vinko. But over the years I've realized staying right at the edge is very dangerous, as during water spray some projectile comes flying and (at least for me) when visiting and measuring the škaf, helmet is mandatory gear.

Some of it is still left, about 5 meters. Definitely still nice and worth a visit soon.

you can scramble to the škaf even now. But from my experience, sometimes it's harder to reach that little box when there's little or no snow. You just have to watch out for those days when avalanches rush down this gully!
You can see the photo (fot.13) of the fresh conditions in the kot under the section Veliki vrh above Matkov kot, which Zoran took on Saturday when wandering above the kot.
