We were close nasmeh On the ninth picture I think it's Begunjščica. And to the right Košutica and behind Veliki vrh.

Today on the top of Mrežce at full moon. Rarely happens that at full moon there is clear sky and complete calm. At Lipanci there was quite some visit, but the top I had only to myself. Lp

This week I was up three times, start from the main road, then across Zajavornike to Lipance, where tea is drunk, then along the classic to the top. For down I won't say, freerider secret mežikanje

For warming up into the new year we chose Mrežce from the Šport hotel, across Planina Zajavornik to Blejska koča at Lipanci. At the Šport hotel the sun was still hiding. The higher we climbed the nicer it got. The path is trampled and ski-tracked, so no sinking in, snowshoes stayed in the backpack. But we used them for descent and treated ourselves to some fun in the powder.. superb velik nasmeh

Today we went to Mrežce with a good feeling. Although there was fog in Ljubljana and it didn't quite look like clear weather, the picture from Kredarica gave us hope that we would climb above the cloud line and enjoy the views and sunshine. The path is bp, crampons are very handy, the snow is extremely firm and doesn't sink. The run was really fletna, the summit rewarded us with views and sun too. Super! =)

On Saturday on the way to Mrežce I stumbled upon a lost wristwatch. It was found above the hut, where the path to Mrežce is steepest - below the initial climb. If anyone misses it, contact me on ZS.

First ascent to Brda, descent to the hut, ascent to Mrežce and skiing directly through the forest towards the monument.

Yesterday beautiful day above Pokljuka. Via Lipance first to Brda, skiing back and then to Mrežce.
Via planina Zajavornik to Lipance path is packed, further to Brda and Mrežce skis or snowshoes obligatory. Lots of visitors. Lp

....Lots of snow at the section by Sport hotel. Path to planina Zajavornik wide, foresters hauling wood from forest. From the direction of Mrzli studenec to planina Zajavornik and further to monument, road was cleared recently but very narrow. Then snow fell again, so only a track on it. Further to Blejska koča at Lipanci there is a trodden path, opposite the planina and from monument. From Blejska koča to summit all kinds of tracks: skis, snowshoes and walkers. Didn't need snowshoes for ascent, but for descent. Started with great mountain view, at summit played hide and seek with fog. Down in valley sun spoiled us againnasmehnasmeh

In this thaw, for the return in the afternoon even an off-roader won't get out, forget personal car - Rudno polje.

Today we went on foot from Mrzli studenec towards Blejska koča. Road passable only to first hut (200 m from main road). Otherwise nice on foot too and less hot than via planina Zajavornik.
