Today Mrežce from Planina Zajavornik. Path to Blejska hut ok, packed, further south snow that sinks in, so some energy spent, almost wished for touring skis, but worth it nasmeh

This morning on Mrežce. Very strong wind, meant hard snow crust and drifted path in places. Just below planina Lipanca path almost invisible, recommend skins for skiers, crampons for walkers.
cheers

In my opinion bike doesn't belong on Mrežce. You can get fined too. Safe steps.

Arrogance, impatience and intolerance, littering etc. don't belong in mountains. For all other nature lovers think there's enough space under the sun...nasmeh Good luck!

We met skuta6 on Mrežce and on descent. He came slowly on bike, we stepped aside, polite thanks, went slowly past us and that was it. No problems.

Regardless of Skovik's comment, I strongly agree with Poljanec. It simply doesn't belong. What is the next step in the "modernization" of mountaineering?! I'm disappointed with PZS.

Why doesn't the bike belong on Mrežce because it's "modernization" of mountaineering? Do touring skis belong? Do snowshoes belong? Do trekking poles belong? Do road & car right to the mountain top belong? What about helicopter? And akis? And mountain hut with schnitzel and hot dog? I definitely know only that intolerance and curing complexes don't belong.
I'm proud of our PZS anyway, mainly because it has a commission for touring cycling! nasmeh Let's like each other, it'll be nicer mežikanje

A year ago I had no objections to cyclists in the mountains until an unpleasant incident happened at least for me. It wasn't on Mrežce.
Because of the narrow trail I was "holding back" two cyclists for about 150-200m, then the second one hit my backpack hard while overtaking, so I lost balance and almost fell down the slope.
Both laughed at their joke and continued.
Since then I'm determined. Stick between the spokes, because it's better the cyclist falls than me.

Drdvix.. Probably your crown would have fallen if you stepped a meter aside right away? And they probably didn't overtake you on the chains.. Interesting.. When a mountain biker catches up to me I step aside..and from that a nice conversation has developed a few times already....not to step aside for 200 meters for him, I'd be ashamed. "Stick between spokes"...a pitiful thought... ..curiosity torments me what that hit on the backpack was like..Best M ..

Sometimes there's too little tolerance for different kinds of recreation in the mountains. Foot passengers who walk on the cross-country ski track and ruin it also bother me. Or wild guys on motor sleds. After all, we go to the mountains to relax, not to ruin our nerves. Best regards
