Snow forecast to lowlands, hmmm, and one came from Idrija, where to, where to, so we don't slide right on the road or off it ?!...so we went, to Pokljuka, quite late of course, three grannies, preparations, even getting to starting point, well it took time, ehhe...
Along the road from Mrzli Studenec, which is drivable, slightly icy in places but okay, it dragged on to the lower parking, then winter poetry started and since I left companions behind , I advanced nicely to Blejska koča, to which path was trodden and no issues. Recommend poles, sure.
At hut, by time too late for Debelo peč, so decision falls and continue to Mrežce, where without snowshoes mission impossible, as when snow "eats" your leg, it's art to pull out, hehe...ah Mrežce peak pure victory, views really fantastic and no way I wanted to descend...
At hut finally meet companions who did "touring ski" tour on Pokljuka, they extended path a bit and luckily found hut at Lipanci, so finished with chatting at hut and followed only descent, looong descent to car.
Since trip was Saturday, probably different today or still...conditions wintery sure, and above hut at least snowshoes mandatory as without not far, day gorgeous
