Ugh... and now it's already starting in the hills. Well, I've heard stories where someone overnighted in a hut, but in the morning the boots were gone. Sometimes someone really gets confused, but just coincidentally they were almost new boots of higher price range...

Unfortunately the times are really over when you could leave your backpack anywhere. Now it maybe applies only to some pathless terrain.

Yes, watch your stuff. My poles were stolen a few years ago on the path between Korošica and Ojstrica. Unfortunately, it's a mirror of our corrupt society.

No in my case I'll stick to OURS, because in that good half hour I met only three groups of "ours". Otherwise I agree that we are not different from foreigners.

Today I also went for the first time on the feared mountain KSA. Starting from Kam. Bistrica via Okrešelj to the summit in 3h and back the same way. Nice free climbing. In "gullies" quite crumbly, exposed walls excellent.
