I'm wondering, since we're on the topic, who is responsible for picking up the direction signs and poles? On Korošica most signs are also somewhere on the ground.
I wanted to put one pole back up, but it was pretty hard.

Gregor, I really have thought about taking preparation material and paint along,..., but unfortunately it doesn't work "homemade" like that.

Homemade really doesn't go. It would bother someone more than leaving everything to neglect.

Mrzla gora is "maintained" by PD Celje Matica. The markings were renewed about three years ago, the debris I handled several times myself...

After a 'long' time I visited it yesterday too. Due to the forecasted severe heat, I stocked up with enough liquid and shortly after seven started from Jermance. Pure joy was the ascent to Kamniško sedlo, since the hut was still in Planjava's shadow on my arrival. I hung wet clothes on the rope, greeted Jerca and Simon and headed to Okrešelj, from where the first hikers were already ascending. Interestingly, despite the late date, the rocks are not yet fully cleared of scree. Before Frischauf there were quite some 'martinčki', I just quenched my thirst and continued. I stopped briefly before the memorial to the five and proceeded under the scorching sun towards Savinjsko sedlo. When turning right, I met only a handful of people returning from MG. The path is in excellent condition, the aids too, so I was on top in a blink. I enjoyed nearly an hour of solitude, on descent light mists were my ally. I did not linger long before the Okrešelj hut, but noticed several German-speaking tourists. Then ascent to Jerca, who served me excellent tiramisu. Returned to the car with nice impressions, with good feelings that today I lost or forgot nothing.

You have the drive to always ascend Mrzla gora from the Kamnik side. And even via Okrešelj in between!

lijaneja, interestingly you described your "wandering" across KS to Mrzla gora, as it seems distances and elevations are no problem for you. Do you ever realize how much you're given that others aren't, to cover so much in a day so easily!? Besides your own effort there must be above-average natural talent for such climbs. . From the heart I wish you to keep enjoying the mountains, delighting us with your stories.

I didn't know either that someone hikes from Kamniška Bistrica to Mrzla gora. But I like lijaneja's descriptions because he lists all the peak names visible in the photos, and you can trust his data.

Yesterday I headed out quite late from Ravenska Kočna towards Ledine through Žrelo, below which there's a snow patch but not problematic. After a long coffee I went to Ledinski vrh then along the ridge to Storžek and descended the secured path which is, to put it mildly, in poor shape. Cables aren't torn except one, but nearly every second or third peg is broken so they're quite loose. While snacking under Savinjsko sedlo I decided it's a shame not to use the day so I went to Mrzla gora too. On return from top I stopped for a roll and coffee at Ledine and learned there'll be two more concerts in August and September. First dedicated to strings and Beethoven, second by Miklavčič, harpsichord virtuoso.
