Yes, the mountain was literally bare from that side. I used crampons on the first snowfield only on descent.

Towards Matkov kot a day later still nicely snowy. Crampons useful all the way to Škaf.
Otherwise it's really high time everything gets snowed in.

Today's snow conditions on the path to Mrzla gora...
Fog above Kamniško sedlo.1
Met a colleague from the forum.2
After meeting a touring skier, turning towards Mrzla gora.3
At times I can even see the clear sky.4
Old and new snow where desired.5
During the ascent visibility held well, on the summit mostly fog afterwards.6

Today again on the "home hill".nasmeh
In the morning it was still raining hard on me to Luče, at the end of Logarska it was then (at 9 a.m.) a real crowd.zmeden
Looks like the police had a "general meeting".

For access I chose Hudi prask, which was still a bit snowy in the upper part. The rest was all bare, also the marked trail across Mrzli dol.
In the last col, as usual, I turned into the snowy gully, because it's the fastest and most comfortable descent to Okrešelj. Today it let me down. In the lower part I encountered a snow slab with a larger "kremšnita". Without rope and gear further descent was impossible for me. I returned nicely up to the col and continued along the marked trail into the valley.
Despite the fog it was pleasantly warm today and windless.

Gregor, I was already taking a run-up to jump with a hammer in hand onto that lower kremšnita, but it clicked..., what if there's a deeper one lower down. Then I'd be in a mousetrap.

Yes, it looks friendlier in the picture than it was in reality. There was quite some air between the rock and snow, and a deep narrow ledge, and all much lower. No big deal, at least I sweated up the gully.
I was thinking of going again...
It was only 20 minutes back up.
