Come on solido, where is the picture?

Yes, a picture of some mountain, right? To feast our eyes a bit

A trip to Logarska dolina is a nice experience for everyone, that holds true for me too; if you extend the visit to some mountain, it's special joy. That happened to me too, although when I was taking the panoramic shot of the valley, I didn't know yet. We were headed to Matkov škaf.

Otiv, did you get to Matkov škaf? I'd love to go to Klemenčjo peč this year. They say it's very nice.

Matkov kot is a world of peace, here one hears the silence, as we like to say. It's not as crowded as Vrata under Triglav. And don't begrudge the time for visiting it.

Tisa You know we've arrived! Everything follows, I have no assistants, so it goes a bit slower. It's called Klemenča jama Lp

Resa is wonderful. I've never seen so much of it anywhere as on Lepa Komna.

Sorry! I'll replace the picture.

After viewing the škaf, the three of us decide to visit Mrzla gora. We've been there in summer already, but never in spring, we tell ourselves and start the ascent. There wasn't too much snow, but it eased the climb for us. Mrzla gora really requires safe steps, especially towards Savinjsko sedlo. Wonderful views from the top.

Tisa, as for resa, I'd say Olševa is completely adorned with it in spring, so from other - of course nearby peaks, it looks like it's painted red, ...

I gladly believe you, jprim. Unfortunately I was only below Olševa, at sv.Duh, because the weather wasn't favorable to my sister and me. I wish to partake in that decoration in the future. Otiv, the "fovšija" is tempting me again

@tisa I've been meandering through the hills for quite a while and that day was truly something unrepeatable for me. LP

Otiv, it seemed to me it's called Klemenča jama, at least that's what I read in the guidebook, but in the Atlas of Slovenia it's written Klemenčja peč. The hut is also on top.

@tisa I have to correct you a little bit. Klemenča jama is a pasture and on that pasture is the mountain hut. It lies below Krofička in KSA. If I'm mistaken, Janez will correct us, who probably knows even better than I. LP

Not necessarily, both exist - Klemenča cave and Klemenča wall. But it's true that tisa probably means Klemenča cave, which lies below the walls of Krofička and Ojstrica. Klemenča wall is located a bit further from Logarska Valley towards Pavličev Saddle and is more known among climbers. Lp.

Otiv - did you put the little roses "a bit mixed" together by hand , or did they really grow together? Jprim - on Olševa I was in autumn when the larches were coloring. Next time I'll go in spring to see that resje. Good information.

Mayda A year ago 24. 5. - look at some pics under Olševa, looks very interesting when you see Olševa so red colored, well you don't exactly see red color, ... this year I didn't manage in spring, but as you say already in late autumn. LP!

@mayda Sorry for two-day delay. The "a bit mixed" one is the real shot from Obirja. There is lots of edelweiss and other flowers and lots of opportunities for such a shot. But it's connected with weather influences. Flowers are not in bloom at the same time every year. Lp

Probably no mountaineer who wouldn't stand on the summit of Ojstrica mt and proudly look into the valley, especially if ascended via Kopinškova path or Kocbekova path along the ridge to the top. Warm May days lured me too to visit Ojstrica. I chose the southern approach due to snow still in abundance. Haven't hiked much in snow to 2000ers, so it was a real experience for me. Will correct text under picture!
