The ostrich has unfortunately gone mushroom picking. Today on a hike from the direction of Hrušica towards Podnanos, we noticed a dead ostrich by the forest road. A bit bizarre, but true. 😮

Didn't you attend the ceremonial opening of the new hut? PZS as 10% owner lent them 5000.00€, instead of contributing 10%. That's about 20,000.00€. And the others are still 10% owners.
Something to think about.

I didn't know at all. Hikers who were descending told me that there was music up there. Opening of the hut. A lot of people came. Some drove up.

Today with my daughter and nephew in a loop from Razdrto. The path is excellently marked, lots of hikers, a light breeze at the top and friendly staff in the hut!
But quite a few families took their little ones (not all were in elementary school yet) up this steep mountain, which I think is irresponsible, because there are quite a few gaps on certain sections. + of course without protection. One mom preferred to turn back, which deserves praise, that she didn't listen to the others!
That's why I preferred to wait until my daughter turned 10 or more importantly, that she exceeded 150cm. Exactly because of the gap. So that it's really safe.

On Saturday I went to Nanos for the first time from the village Strane along the ridge towards the natural window and Suhi vrh. Then onwards to the hut and descent towards Ubeljsko where it turns left below onto Jakobova which then joins the marked path from Stran. Nice circular route, I like it more from this side. Especially almost no hikers on this side.

Indeed, few hikers on this path, especially the descent to Ubeljsko, the steepness eek
better to go up than down.

It doesn't really belong in the topic, but nevertheless.
For all of you who write, but care about the language.
I often notice the failure to distinguish between the 3rd and 5th case. With the preposition "proti" the 3rd case (dative, we ask "to whom or what") is used, thus: proti naravnemu oknu, proti Suhemu vrhu etc.
The 5th case (locative) is used with prepositions "v, na, ob". E.g. na Bavškem Grintovcu, v naravnem oknu, ob samem vrhu, etc.
But I look towards Bavški Grintovec, towards Veliki vrh, I drive towards Gornji Grad etc.
