Classic from Razdrto via steep path. Descended with Maksim along the ridge to St. Jerome's church. Then along gentle path to start. The windiest was the edge part. Under antenna. Icy wind pulling and you had to watch so gust doesn't knock you down. For Nanos nothing special. Not much snow. No crampons needed. Those who went earlier had them on descent.

Given that people are increasingly scribbling even on their own stuff, I'm not surprised they're doing it elsewhere too. Graffiti on every blank wall. I remember years ago police at work advised us to fill a big blank wall with our own writings. That way we'd avoid foreign scribbles!? That was their solution to the problem. nasmeh

Sadly now it's spreading to the mountains too. And it's not necessarily only "religious fanatics" doing it. Conflicts usually brew in multiple ways.

Check the handwriting in the post. It's the same on motorway structures as on Nanos.
Motorways are all covered with cameras. On Nanos there are always so many people that someone must have seen him at his "artistic work".

The sun wasn't exactly worth praising. First rain with wind. Which stopped after nine. Then windy. Not in the forest. When you get to the open and there by the antenna it was blowing hard. Gusts were there. Hut was open. We stopped for a while. Friendly caretakers. We descended past the chapel of St. Hieronymus on the gentle path.(17.9. 2024)
