From Razdrtega up the steep to Vojkove koča, then to Grmada and to St. Hieronymus.
Down the gentle one.
It was a nice day, the bora subsided.
Hut renovated, open, offer through window, /to go/

Today up the steep, back the gentle from Razdrtega. Since last early spring when I was last up, I noticed that the path start no longer winds across the meadow but along its right edge, which is fenced.
Otherwise humid, stifling all the way to the end of the forest edge. Then the humidity eased and the wind cooled the overheated body.
Visibility none (at least 9-11am).
On return, St. Hieronymus.1

Saturday afternoon. Though rain was forecast and it was drizzling when I was driving to Razdrto around 2pm. Muddy little path at the start of the path. The steep one. But we turned left at the unmarked junction. Some use this path perhaps more for descent, because it is steep. It is called Janez's path. They told me last year. Probably after some local. Also at the hut almost no one. Quite windy on the ridge. We stopped at the little church of St. Hieronymus. There it is somewhat sheltered. And down the gentle path to the valley.
Not a promising view when we started hiking.1

4.8.2021. Gray August morning. But quite a few hikers. We two from Razdrtega steep path. Turned left on Janez path. Locals call it so. To Vojkova koča. Then Grmada, some hikers. To St. Hieronymus churchlet. Gentle path to start.

Sunday almost windless tour steep from Razdrtega. Hikers just right. Mostly small crampons esp. descent. Expected more snow. Prob. wind blown. At least day before windy. Hiker told me. Ridge to church icy part, put crampons there. Gentle path less snow, no winter gear needed.

It doesn't happen often to have a two-in-one: a tour and Tura. velik nasmeh
From Razdrto via the path by the scree to Nanos, which was extremely unwelcoming in the morning hours. Wind swirled snow, made drifts and threw me off balance; past Vojkova koča I staggered like after an all-nighter - wonder what they thought... zmeden jezik
Later no milder wind conditions, and on the Grmada ridge stones in pockets would have been more than welcome. Finally the wind tired of its pranks, and past St. Hieronymus at Strmec the air was much calmer and temperatures friendlier. From there across Šentviška Tura, Tura, Podraška Tura and Gradiška Tura all wilderness; only twice human tracks - when crossing marked path Podnanos-Abram, and when crossing marked path Kamp Tura-Abram. Quite an interesting area, but among hillocks and valleys you can easily stray the wrong way.
Where not blown clean, plenty of drifts on this section too, on open ground or in forest.
In my opinion in warm months some areas (almost) impassable, since even now occasionally in such dense young beech that hard to push through.
Returned via easy path in lower section (past St. Miklavž) crossing Nanos massif directly to windmill in Razdrto.
Despite low elevation gain, quite some ascent and even more distance.

When preparing for ascents on Swiss four-thousanders and Mont Blanc in winter time I built fitness and three times weekly walked Gradiška Tura - Abram - Vojkova koča - Hieronim - hunter's hut - St. Miklav - Gradiška Tura.
Yeah it's long route, really adds up km, and quite some elevation...

Solid tour. Is there in the "upper floor" some path between peaks or is it more pathless? From Gradiška tura back to the start, I assume path/trail?
