Today for the third time to Nanos from Strane. Always something special. First time years ago, when there was more than half a meter of snow. Second time, when we missed the path up and after four crawled up steep grasses, down again missed... This time with our mountain rose, no doubt we wouldn't miss. Now the path is nicely marked, today a bit more slippery due to night rain. While we shortened the marked time to the hut quite a bit, our young man did two ascents, one from Strane, descent and second from Razdrto... that's youth, bravo. At the hut good apple strudel, but corona still prevents entry to the hut, so we left quickly, as you can't sit warmed up in the wind... Anyway, we accepted the suggestion to go to Suhi vrh, the highest point of Nanos, 1313 m. We descended towards Strane and at the marked junction left to Suhi vrh. Past the hunting hut, a bit on the road, all well marked. We did a nice path to the top, views super, from Triglav to Kamniks, towards Kucelj, Javornik, towards Snežnik and Učka... On descent past Okno and another ascent to Maj peak. Followed an extremely interesting descent along the ridge, unmarked, according to the path description by radio operator Slavko Šetina. It's a fairly steep descent, which was rewarded at this time with wonderful peonies. Of course we are grateful to our guide, without whom there wouldn't be such a rounded tour...
