edd, the path is not difficult at all. From pl. Podvežak follow the marks for Ojstrica and when you're almost at the top the path from Molička pl. joins from the right side. A little further, when Kocbekov dom is already visible, then the path to Ojstrica (over m. Ojstrica) branches off to the right and you climb along the ridge to the top of Ojstrica. Back you can descend directly to Kocbekov dom, and return along the same path to pl. Podvežak or over Molička pl. (it's a more demanding path) Last year I walked this tour and it's really well marked, and nice greetings m.

If the question is still relevant, then you won't find marks anywhere except on some tree (where the forest line ends, you probably know). But do you plan this as a winter or summer tour?

Today three of us climbed past Klemenča cave and over Škarje to Ojstrica. Klemenča cave is practically dry, higher up there's a bit more snow and it's mainly frozen on the north side. On Škarje real spring, the sun was burning, most of the newly fallen snow has already slid off. Summit part unpleasant, because on icy base about 10 cm of windblown snow and steps form. The view to nearby and distant peaks was divine this time, during the whole day we didn't meet a living soul anywhere, probably end of week will be completely different. Good luck!

Chuck doesn't need to go to the mountain anyway. He just looks at it, and the mountain comes to him.

@J.Trogar: what are conditions from Podvežak to Korošica? How long does this walk take? LP

@Krištof Kumprej, from Planinšek to Korošica on skis about three hours. Crust from Planinšek to under Tolsti vrh held human weight yesterday, further on broke through here and there. Of course, if temps rise, more breakthroughs and walking more strenuous. Best regards from under beautiful Golte, Janez

Yesterday through Klemenče jama towards Škarje. Path to Klemenče jama passable without issues. From there to junction for Kopinškova pot snow knee-deep. Further a real ordeal. Snow up to "ass" and trailbreaking very laborious. Things improved slightly after entering steep section towards Škrbina. At top of Škrbina frozen crust, underneath completely dry snow grinding under feet. Progress possible on all fours with poles on ground. Therefore decided to visit only Rjavčki vrh. From Klemenče jama to Škrbina walked three hours.

Yesterday with group ascended Ojstrica from Podvežak via Mala Ojstrica. Road drivable to Planinšek, then walk along road. From Podvežak snow cover thickens, sometimes bears weight, sometimes breaks after 10 cm. Trail generally packed. From Sedelca to Mala Ojstrica no major issues. Ice axe and crampons mandatory, snow excellently transformed and frozen in places, windblown dry unpacked elsewhere. Many snow holes dangerous in thaw. Last approx 200 m elevation before summit conditions constantly change: transformed snow to near ice, then powder and bare rocks, similar on demanding section. Caution and restraint at peak. Strong wind gusts yesterday spiced up Ojstrica ascent further.
