Given the weather forecast, today I chose KSA, specifically its eastern (hopefully sunny) part - Ojstrica. Every few years for memory refresh I do the route: Kamniška bela - Šraj pesek - Petkove njive - Korošica - Ojstrica. Not much sun, even less snow, so it practically doesn't hinder access on the mentioned path anywhere. Too bad there wasn't much interest for this tour today, so Rajko and I were probably the only visitors to Ojstrica.

I'm interested,,, the path through Škarje towards Ojstrica, Planjava (especially Škarje, if it's passable for the weekend-Saturday)

On the path there are icy slabs, quite a lot of snow that sinks in - it's difficult!!!

that's no problem, there's not much snow. above you have pictures from Korošica, lower it's even less snow, if it's almost +15, snow melts quickly

Don't take it personally, redbull - but I really think it's unnecessary to ask about unimportant gear. Some gaiters up or down in the backpack!
In my opinion the published photo of current conditions says most. If there's a comment too, even better. Although the comment can also be very subjective. From the photos everyone can best judge themselves what they need for this tour. And photos were posted!

Today to Ojstrica from Lučka Bela. No excessive crowds. You can reach the summit without winter gear because there's very little snow on the trail.

Some patch of snow probably still there, but it doesn't cause problems on the path Korošica - Ojstrica summit.

Yesterday,16.06., went along Kopinšek...only in one section some snow, but nothing special. So, easily without winter gear.

Thanks Ninica for that information. I'm asking because tomorrow 18.06.2012 I'll do a big tour that I'll name Logarskih 24h, as many summits as possible, start at 0.00h and night jump to queen Ojstrica, so via direct Kopinšek and on to Planjava, Brana, Turska gora, Skuta and back through Turski žleb to Logarska dolina.

Yes, of course I'll report with fresh data from the field. I really sighed with relief when I learned from you that Kopinškova is doable without winter gear, I was afraid I'd have to go through the screes on a longer and not very nice path, then descend again the same path towards the Planjava ridge. This way I can go the shortest and wildest path and make a nice loop without repetition.
