dejan, now you've positively surprised me - blog written without times (though probably due to company, and in that case you don't write times, but still praiseworthy).

if you want, I can tell you too, if interestednasmeh.
maybe you don't believe, but I write times on blog mainly for myself, to look back later, as it's my archive, when I go same route, to know where I was timewise.
unfortunately I mostly enjoy faster pace too.

Redbull, from Velike Zelenice I observed two moving figures on Kopinškova, probably your companions. Lp

We were also on Sunday at Ojstrica and Rjavčki vrh. We did a circular tour: Dom Planincev - Koča na Klemenči jami - Ojstrica via the Kopinškova path - Škarje saddle - Rjavčki vrh - Koča na Klemenči jami - Dom Planincev.

Since we were early enough, we enjoyed the sun on the summit and had nice views. Only Ojstrica and Mrzla gora held out for a long time and weren't shrouded in fog, as all surrounding peaks were in clouds, only here and there it opened briefly.

More photos and a tour description are published on the website of Planinsko društvo Matica Murska Sobota: http://www.pdmaticams-drustvo.si/

On Saturday we plan to go to Ojstrica from Podveža. Wondering if we have to go to Molička or go towards Korošica and then to Ojstrica?

You don't need to go to Molička, junctions (right Molička, left Ojstrica) are well marked. Good luck and enjoy.

@gobica, if you like circular paths and have no issues with demanding paths, I recommend the path past Molička pasture and up the Kocbek path to the summit of Ojstrica; of course the tour time lengthens because the pasture is a bit lower and you have to climb up again, but it's also possible from the direction towards Korošica.

Good luck! smile

These days we'd go for a little hike in KSA. Does anyone know approximately how much snow there is on Korošica and Ojstrica?

nasmeh for hiking at 2350m you'll have to spit in your palms anyway.

Kamniško sedlo better recommended. With proper gear also higher e.g. Brana

best regards
good luck

This morning we started from Podveža to Korošica aiming for Ojstrica, but lacked time so jumped to the ridge of M. Ojstrice. Snow south-facing about 30cm.

Hi!

Does anyone know what the road to Planina Podvežak is like? Is there any snow yet? Do they plow it if it snows?

Thanks and take care

To the planina, as far as I know they don't plow it, to Planinšek (farm on the bad half of the path) it is cleared if needed.

To Planinšek it is generally drivable. Of course, with this road like all to mountain farms - the local will make it up. For you - well, it depends on your skills in handling the car on ice.

Last winter to Planinšek without problems with old winter tires in deep frozen ruts. It's steep there and you need to drive always at low revs to spot oncoming cars. Otherwise, shovel, chains, light, frost-free lock fluid all winter in the car. It's true that at Planinšek by the house only SUVs are parked eek
