Yesterday I visited Ojstrica via Kopinškova path, weather held and was pleasant, just a bit foggy on ascent but no problem, it was excellent. Even met acquaintance from this forum and FB friend and we chatted for a long time about various paths and ascents to summits. No snow anywhere on the path anymore.

Today we had a great day on Ojstrica and pastures below. On return from Planina Podvežak flat tire on gravel section. But!!! In hills really all nice people, first car behind us helped change it. If reading this forum, thanks again. Always be so kind and safe in mountains.

Yesterday late afternoon with a colleague to Molička planina, where we bivouacked until the early morning hours, then over Mala Ojstrica to the summit just as the sun rose above the horizon. On the summit I enjoyed a whole hour, then descended to the hut. In front of the burned hut stands an old bivouac from under Grintovec. No containers yet, apparently too heavy for helicopter transport zavijanje z očmi

We returned to Podvežak along an unmarked trail under Lastovec. The path to the hunting hut is impassable due to abundant fallen trees.

Yesterday morning visit to Ojstrica. Start at Pl. Podvežak where everything is still sleeping peacefully and in pleasant coolness I continue for a while with headlamp towards Korošica. From afar I listen to sheep bleating and enjoy the birth of a new day, beautiful views... Over Mala Ojstrica to Ojstrica and then descent to the burned Kocbekov dom. Really a pity, peak hiking season, our helicopters can't deliver the bivouacs, although everything is ready. Apparently negotiating with Croats and NATO who have more powerful ones...???

Today along unmarked trail to Desko, then past Vodotočnik to the fire site at Korošica. jezen

To the summit via south path, where I could barely quench my thirst with snow. mežikanje

Descent along ridge and marked path back to Podvežak. Inkretov spring surprisingly offered fresh water on the way back today. nasmeh

The tour hotel Plesnik-Rkljeva peč-Logarska peč-Strelovec-Ute-Travnik-Krofička-Škrbina-Ojstrica via Kopinškova-Škarje-Jama-hotel Plesnik I started at dawn and finished at dusk.
Bivouac under Ute I skipped this time, but climbed directly up the ridge to Ute. Nice climbing in good rock. Quite demanding considering the exposure below. The ridge then to the saddle where the path from bivouac comes up is pure enjoyment, almost no scrub, which however doesn't lack later. Nice very steep climbing followed from the saddle up to continue along the ridge. From there constant companion is scrub. I stuck strictly to the ridge, as there is least there. Stop at Krofička I used to dry clothes and change footwear. Morning was quite wet and I started in hiking boots, here I changed to five fingers. Then continued reborn. Descent to Škrbina again strictly along ridge. Pure enjoyment, best was standing on the last tower below and looking at what was behind me and the goal high up on Ojstrica ahead. On the traverse below Ojstrica summit I shortened a bit with direct climbing up. On Ojstrica summit the feeling of triumph overcame me looking at the conquered. Two choughs kept me company during snack and sunbathing. To all the beauty fog added a bit of mystique. Descended via Škarje and Jama. Unfortunately my phone froze at the junction below Ojstrica and so I remained without photos further on.
All fixed protections on the route ok.
Saw two deer and 28 chamois. Also quite some hikers during the tour on neighboring peaks. Some also on Krofička.

Yesterday was one of those days when the whole path smiles at you. All blue skies, no wind, temperature just right. I took this path to Ojstrica via Kopinškova, gorgeous path, pure enjoyment from start to finish, on return even tasty mushroom soup with buckwheat žganci in Klemenča Jama hut, at end the wish bell. Can you wish for anything nicer? velik nasmeh

12.10.2018:
We started the tour Strelovec-Ute-Travnik-Krofička-Škrbina-Ojstrica via Kopinškova-Mala Ojstrica-Molička peč at Knez farm.
We started walking in the dark. We observed a nice sunrise while hiking on Strelovec. Chamois and rowan berries enlivened the ascent to Ute. While preparing for belay, Neža had already vanished high in the wall on us. We also did well and soon continued along the Ute ridge. The rock jump ahead to Travnik was no problem. On its ridge, two ravens posed very close to us. Unusual for them, as it is the shyest largest European songbird. Soon we stood on the Travnik summit and already hurried towards Krofička. On its top, Igor says it is not quite right, so he will descend to Logarska dolina.
Neža and I continued to Ojstrica. Things kept happening to us there as well. From nice climbing during the descent along the Krofička ridge, an ibex under Ojstrica, and two wonderful birches under the Ojstrica summit. Of course, there were wonderful views all the time. We enjoyed her summit for a long time and then continued the descent via Mala Ojstrica to Molička peč. There we decided to shorten our planned tour also via V. Zelenica and Križevnik, but descend the marked path to Robanov kot. While descending, we kept looking to the other side where we had hiked that day. Magical feeling. What would the full loop be like? Midway down the descent, we admired the skills of two chamois racing on rock ledges of vertical walls.
The path from Molička peč to Robanov kot is quite worn and full of scree. Some pitons on chimneys are pulled out. So be careful on it.
At Govec, Igor was already waiting for us, whom a friendly local had specially brought from Logarska dolina. Thanks to him.
So with good struklji and talk about what each had experienced, we closed another nice day in our wonderful mountains.

Start from planina Ravne (easy access, unfortunately no snow), towards Ojstrica. Path to Mala Ojstrica partly trodden by three guys who bivied in tent under Mala Ojstrica Friday night. Since dark led them bit off path towards Molička peč, some track needed fixing. Our variant to Mala Ojstrica more direct than summer path. Guys turned few meters above Mala Ojstrica. We continued track to summit. Conditions to Mala Ojstrica unproblematic. Further very mixed. First super hard windblown snow, later sugary, near top almost pure powder. Some parts very little snow on rocks, so crampons and ice axe well sharpened. Descended towards Korošica, snow much better and mostly well frozen.
