Because the snow was too soft and too steep, nothing held except kicking the front part of the boots and heels, and self-arrest with ice axe would be questionable.

Went to check that gully but a crack had already formed half a meter wide, maybe more, about two meters deep. Didn't want to step on bridge because snow settled on edges of both cracks under pressure. Upper part looked solid though if you manage to get there. Assume talking about gully in pic. Crack visible.

Yeah the crevices are the problem, yeah that's what I meant here. No other choice but the normal way like you did

Hi.

Any snowfields left on the way to the top? Need ice axe and crampons?

Lots of snow in mountains this year, so better ask nasmeh

I was on Ojstrica from Kamniško sedlo recently. No snowfields.

On Kopinškova 5m snowfield which you can bypass below too. So no problem.

On Saturday from pl. Podvežak over Little Ojstrica to the big one, then down to Korošica and back to pl. Podvežak.

The path has no special features, the stamp at the top is totally worn so it is almost invisible, no stamp at Korošica (I think). Shame for those doing transferzalo.

I'm wondering if the path over Škarje is dry, or if there is still any snowfield on the path?

Yesterday to Ojstrica via Kopinškova then traverse to Planjava and descent via Kamniško sedlo to Okrešelj.
Most of the path foggy and windy, so no views. mrk pogled

Saturday, 4.9.2021

Planina Podvežak, up the ridge path across Mala Ojstrica, descent past the container to Korošica. Beautiful weather in the morning, from the pasture to the summit some medium gloom, on the summit decent, during descent sun again and quite hot. Cows on the pasture are friendly, paths without issues, crowd tolerable. Nice nice nasmeh

Yesterday from Logarska via Kopinškova up, descent to Škarje, hop to Lučka baba, on the way also to Rjavčki vrh and back to the valley.

Below the Ojstrica summit it was nicely icy, the base firm and frozen. Kopinškova bp, to Škarje bp, except that old torn cable at the entry/exit of the secured section, which still causes no problems. Wonderful day for the mountains.
