Not everything is about GDP and economic growth, but humanity isn't at that level yet. This mantra of always more and more, and never enough, will pass too, but the landing on real ground will be very hard. Importantly, let's build hotels in the mountains and go for mass tourism. The Triglav region is already a good example. No thanks.

I don't know where so many dark thoughts and skepticism come from. According to the conceptual design of Kocbek's hut on Korošica, the hut will be completely self-sufficient in providing water and electricity (the hut will use solar and wind energy). The new hut will also be ecologically efficient, it will have a sewage treatment plant. Rainwater will be used for sanitary water. Spring water will be for drinking and cooking. All these worries will be forgotten in a year or two and we'll see it all in warm colors.
And all MPs are on the side of hikers and mountain lovers. There will also be quite some money from the state. So don't grumble, but let's hear a cheerful mountaineer's hurrah! 
The devil take it if a similar solution isn't found for the Okrešelj hut too.

Anyone who talks about ecological sewage treatment plants in the high mountains is talking nonsense. For successful operation, the treatment plant must operate all the time and have a consumer of nutrients at the end.

And that's why I don't appreciate people who make a living selling fog. Unfortunately!

If on the topic "Okrešelj", on this forum only those who can argue their writing wrote, there wouldn't even be half of what's written.

What is happening at Okrešelj, I no longer doubt that the hut was not deliberately burned, but the one who broke into the GRS hut, shame on him for taking all their rescue equipment, which they urgently need for rescues in the mountains. I'm not malicious, but I would wish for this one to get stuck somewhere in the rocks, and see if he has the heart to call rescuers. The one who carried out this ugly deed, if he has a soul and some heart, I beg him to return the equipment to the rescuers.

He will, no worries. These types are not embarrassed at all.
We meet them in everyday life too. These are those who think they can do whatever to whomever,... and are not ashamed to even look victims in the eyes afterwards or even ask them for a favor. Everyone knows one like that.
@mosovnik: quite possible he's not even a mountaineer, hiker questionable. He will sell this equipment on, question if he needs any himself.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt for the admin (or GRS Celje) to check the small ads, see if anything turns up there.

Maybe, but really maybe, connect these three events.
- Inexplicably burned GRS cabin at Okrešelj
- Not sufficiently explained cause of fire in the hut
- Theft of equipment from GRS cabin
All together looks like a revenge campaign. Recent events lead me to this (they still haven't found the notorious avenger who destroyed silo-combines).
p.s. During the last visit to Logar Valley we noticed a huge generator from JNA legacy. Given that I know where exactly such one "disappeared", I wonder how much this poor guy walked to get to the valley and is now at the mercy of the weather.

Not just with a security camera or house alarm, but with both!! In addition, a connection via wifi, or somehow else to the valley (local PD, fire department or even police) is needed. Also a traffic camera at the entrance to Logar Valley can record vehicles, or a camera at the parking lot. They're thinking about security a bit late. They could have ensured that long ago. Vitel and static ropes and drilling tools....he knew exactly what he came for.
VanSims : they stole, they steal and they will steal, everyone, from politicians, businessmen, mayors, church....all the way to the ordinary mortal. If nothing else, we have a good example.
