Now it depends whether you're returning to Logar Valley or to the parking lot below the waterfall.
The easiest is to Logar Valley. There's nothing demanding on this path, except on some parts very "loose" scree. The "path" is quite visible and there shouldn't be any problems.
If you want to go to the circular parking lot below the waterfall, you might run into some trouble in the forest, which you can bypass or climb if not too demanding. The most orientationally demanding is after the clearcut, which is already regrowing, but quite laborious.
In both variants, you need to search for passages, but it's not difficult.

On Sunday, 5.7.2020, an evening hop to Okrešelj. Path without features, few people mostly still returning from surrounding peaks. Some more pics.

Hello, I'm interested if there's still snow on Okrešelj. If maybe someone walked there in recent days.

There is no snow on the path to Okrešelj. But it starts right away once you pass the stairs towards Rink or the monument.

Can someone explain to me what's happening with the camera at Kamniško sedlo?
Every few days it stops and "hangs" and shows pictures a few days old or more. eek

If you looked at some other camera (excluding Kredarica) you would see that this is something completely everyday

Yesterday to Okrešelj from Logarska dolina. Car needs to be left at Dom planincev, so a 30-minute walk to the parking at the waterfall. Conditions excellent. Well trodden, also towards Savinjsko sedlo, and through Turski žleb (at least what could be seen from afar).

Greetings to all mountaineers. Lately I've noticed various namings of cirques in our mountains, even peaks are named differently among themselves. Why that's so, let each think for themselves. In my opinion it's due to insufficient information before we head to the hills. Sadly it's already a staple with us; just like that, on the quick. A good example is one of the most interesting glacial cirques that descends in steps from west to east all the way to Logarska dolina. We know this cirque as Okrešelj. But problems arise when hikers describe their wanderings in this part of the mountains. Namely, Okrešelj consists of three more and less pronounced glacial cirques.
The first, highest-lying one is nestled under Savinjsko sedlo and is called Mrzli dol.
The second, into which steep walls of Štajerski Rinek fall from one side and the mighty face of Mrzla gora from the other, is Zgornji Okrešelj.
Between the above-mentioned cirques is a short easy rocky step called Prag.
Follows a smaller lazily lying overgrown hillock which we call Zaspani hrib, under which one path branches to Turski žleb.
Right after it, going downhill, spreads a more level and also partly forested cirque Okrešelj. This is also the largest.
And the valley head which ends, or starts if you will, we call Kot - that's actually the end of Logarska dolina. And for easier visualization I'm attaching a map of the mentioned cirques (pic 1).
Same with peaks above Okrešelj where naming of Rink gets confused. For orientation attaching a photo (pic 2).
It would be most welcome if hikers stuck to the long-known and recorded names when describing their paths, which of course are still in older books, just need to read them (won't find on web!). PZS also needs to correct place names in their online maps that don't match actual naming (mappzs.si).

We should use the names that locals who live there use. Of course then sometimes you need to exchange a word with them too, not just follow maps, guides and net. Many things are wrongly named, especially lesser known and smaller parts of our mountains.

Oh yeah; but just one question: in dialect or in Slovenian?

And if someone comments on correct spellings of our geographical names, there's quickly some nastiness in the posts. I agree with 'kalog's opinion.
I myself commented some incorrect entry a while ago, but never got any approval.
Geographical names - their spelling is found in the geographical lexicon.
Well, Slovenian is written with small initial letter.mežikanje

User ziki years ago as a long-time resident of these parts shared info multiple times that the area between Kotliči and Kamniško sedlo (between Menih and Pasje sedlo) is called Zadnji Okrešelj by locals. lp
