Exactly at that spot we hesitated whether to attack or not. The clearings along the wall downward are no more, but there's a barely passable narrow passage towards the saddle. I always leave something for later, and also didn't want to spoil the good impression of Kopa.

Gully between Kopo and Konj - passable idea?

So no one yells at Pastirica. The pic above is an idea to climb from Lučka Bela on the other side of Kopa. Towards Dedec I didn't take a pic, so the smaller guy from that side doesn't get mad at me cool

On Sunday there was a large crowd at Velika Planina so we drove to Planina Dol which was more or less deserted. From the pasture we ascended through the forest to Planina Rzenik and went to Rzenik and Konj as well. Path without features. On both peaks unpleasant wind but it didn't blow away the good mood on an otherwise sunny day. On the pasture the chair still waits for the septuagenarian... ...with extension to Vel'ka.
On OF day it'd be a sin to stay home so I came up with this tour.
Parking empty, my backpack only had essentials so I could grind up the slope at fast pace. Path damp but muddy. First snow just below Rzenik pasture, higher up good to have gaiters as foot sinks deeper in bushes sometimes. On arrival at Rzenik mists still around me, on Konj could already sunbathe. On return met lots of people, even on ascent to Velika Planina. Wonderful day not spoiled by Kamnik innkeeper who charged full two euros for cappuccino.

Only three cars on the parking lot, upon return just space for exactly that many more.

Huge landslide, which has blocked part of the path to Presedljaj as well.

In Bojč's times this wall was climbed many times.

The north side of Vel'ka is still quite white

The Kamniška Bela valley is already turning green.

400m of extremely crumbly vertical Rzenik walls.

I once went over Kuklarje to Velika Planina, then to Planina Dol, to Konj, Rzenik, and back down the gully to parking. It really wore me out. nasmeh

We did the tour with a buddy two days ago.
From Kopišče we ascended the wonderful Martinj path to Planina Dol. We went past the pasture and above the hunting hut took the hunting path that brought us to Planina Rzenik. This path is also nice and wild. Even some patches of snow with snowdrops beside it.
Then from Planina Dol via nice hidden path up to Rzenik and down from it to Konj. There we met buddies who came from the opposite direction and together descended via Presedljaj.
All paths are dry, all safety gear in good condition.

Via dusty road we arrived at Planina Dol and did a loop with ascent along the track then along SE ridge to Planina Rzenik and up to Konj and Rzenik. From top down through bushes along west ridge back to Planina Rzenik where the chair waited for the septuagenarian. On pasture real little flower paradise. From pasture back via west path. Gaz to Konj and Rzenik cleared. So it doesn't look like boasting the main socially useful work was done by the trio ahead of me. My contribution was only from the fork to Rzenik (or 50m further) to the top of Rzenik. cool

Hello, next week I plan the route Logarska dolina - Presedljaj - Konj - Velika planina - Domžalski dom on Mali planina. Would you advise against this route in current conditions or is it not (too) dangerous? thanks

I don't understand. You would drive to Logarska, then walk back to Robanov kot along the road?
Otherwise, the path from Robanov kot over Žvižgovec is very demanding, in winter conditions especially. Add to that a short day...

Seems like every winter it's our turn: winter fairy tale and socially useful work (breaking trail) on Konj and Rzenik. This time from Dol onwards, up to Dol there were predecessors.
