Next month February I would like to do a trip Rogla - Ribniška koča - Črni Vrh... are snowshoes needed?

NO. There's no snow.

Depends on how much snow there will be, currently not needed or never needed there, because if you go on the marked path it's always well trodden.

I have one question, I checked quite a few pages but they seem wrong.
In April I plan to do the Slovenj Gradec-Maribor tour and I'm interested where is best to overnight. If anyone knows some option at Rogla (as basic and cheap as possible) or suggest somewhere else. Thanks for answers

On Friday and Saturday we hiked across Pohorje from Radvanja to Poštarski dom under Uršlja gora. We stayed overnight at Klopni Vrh, where there are 18 beds and a nice hut owner who nicely arranged the interior. The trail itself is quite well marked and trodden, only the motocross riders who drive and destroy hiking paths disturb, especially the section from Kopa to Kremžarjev vrh where they badly tore up the path, we met four of them on that part. We took 18 hours for the whole trail.

I hiked with a colleague a very similar path on Saturday and Sunday, ending in Slovenj Gradec. Nice and unique tour, like Pohorje.
We slept at Pesek. Nice tour, but I got some blisters velik nasmeh
Stankoju, on the eleventh picture it's Ribniški vrh, not Jezerski, as you wrote.

Ribniški vrh, Jezerski vrh both names are in use and also on maps we see double naming.

I'm interested from Pohorje experts if anyone has been to the spring-maybe springs of Dravinja river on Pohorje and what that spring is like!? What's the access like!? Little info on net and most I found is it's southwest of Rogla - presumably towards Skomarje, around 1200m altitude...Thanks in advance for info...

Today 17 hikers from PD Mislinja set out on a hike across Pohorje (Mariborska koča (1080 m), Ruška koča na Arehu (1246 m), Šumik (1050 m), koča na Klopnem vrhu (1280 m), Pesek (1382 m), Rogla (1517 m), Komisija, Velika Mislinja). At 05:15 we drove from AP Mislinja with two vans via Srednji Dolič, Vitanja, Slovenska Bistrica, Hoče, and Slivniško Pohorje to Mariborska koča, the starting point. We arrived at Mariborska koča just after half past six, followed by stamping and breakfast or first snack. Soon we reached Ruška koča, stamping and short break, then continued towards Šumik, optionally viewing the big Šumik waterfall, which is about 20 min away from the path towards Ruš. Some continued to koča na Klopnem vrhu (1280 m). After viewing Šumik waterfall we had a snack and continued to koča na Klopnem vrhu (1280 m). Then break and stamping, then to koča na Pesku (1382 m), another two hours walk. At 14:00 arrived at Pesek, longer break, stamping, snack or lunch. At Pesek weather changed quickly, suddenly very dark, no rain but cooled fast, so long sleeves and pants needed. Around 15:00 continued to Rogla, good half hour walk. At Rogla it was real autumn weather, started drizzling near Komisija, but weather spared us, no heavy rain luckily. Due to changing and not very friendly weather, we ended the Pohorje hike at Komisija or Velika Mislinja. Walking time without stops: 7 hours, km walked: approx. 25.

Tuesday and Wednesday used for crossing Pohorje. First day along Šumljakova path past Mariborska and Ruška koča to Klopni vrh. Second day past Pesek to Lovrenc Lakes, on to Ribniška koča, Črni vrh, over Kope to Kremžarov vrh and to bus station in Sl. Gradec. Wonderful nature, peace and quiet, so you don't even notice you've walked 64 km and gained 2700 elevation meters.

Pohorje ..., yeah pretty close, though the drive to the starting point took an hour and a half.
Since we started at Grmovškov dom, which is unfortunately closed, we planned the route on the fly.nasmeh(we missed the starting point in Mislinja).
To Črni vrh of course, then Jezerski vrh, Ribniško jezero, Ribniška koča, Koča na Pesniku and back to Grmovškov dom. The path from Koča na Pesniku draaaags on, as you walk on a gravel road, there are no hiking trail markers, you follow the bike path markers, maybe they will mark a shortcut sometime in the future, or maybe we missed it.
Safe steps.

Finally Pohorje put on its white winter cap, well it's about time. So today I head out on the standard Sunday tour from Tinje towards Rep village, continue via Planina pod Šumikom to Tri kralji and on via Črno jezero to Osankarica. Return on road to Tri kralji and descend marked path home, total 18 km hike.
Snow currently from 10 cm (at 650m), up to 20 cm towards Osankarica. Gaiters really useful, walking quite strenuous as underfoot it's mushy, since ground didn't freeze before snow.
Weather nice, pleasant and not too cold.

Cooling and snow whitened higher hills so I decided to head straight to Pohorje, otherwise I'd go farther and higher. Start at lower station of Pohorje cable car and up old FIS track. Valley blooming spring, up at viewpoint still winter saying it won't give up easily. Past tower to Areh, path nothing special snow 1-2cm and mud, otherwise real winter idyll and this in April. More pics here

So today let's go along Šumljakova path from Sp. Radvanja to Mariborska koča. Here starts the famous SPP. Path was muddy, weather held up to the hut. Along the path lots of interesting things and friendly staff at the hut. Best regards!
...let's go to meet the day.1
At the start of the path, mixed forest with deep ruts.2
At some places there was mud.3
Educational signs along the path...4
Up there is a prehistoric settlement from the 8th century BC.5
They had north and south gates.6
We go past the cable cars.7
And again a good one worth remembering.8
I see the path markers are working...9
We are right before the hut behind this spruce.10
Here you get the first SPP stamp and you are also well served.11
From the hut nice view of Dravsko polje, behind Donačka, Boč....... let's go, it will pour!12
