Does anyone know if the path from Trenta via Planina Krotica to Prehodavci is marked and maintained - how much time is needed from Trenta to the hut? Everywhere only descriptions via Zadnjica? Thanks

That's the path you're asking about:

http://www.hribi.net/izlet/trenta_zasavska_koca_na_prehodavcih_/1/175/1304#diskusije

I walked it on 9 July this year, when going to Ozebnik and to the saddle Čez dol everything was fine. Surely further to Prehodavci everything is ok, if not someone would have written, as they walk it regularly.

From Trenta to the hut at Prehodavci is 4 hours of nice walking, the path is nicely marked and cleared. I walked it this year 2x up and 2x down, PD Radeče maintains it regularly.

PD Lisina Matulji, this weekend 10.11.06.2017 would lead 18 hikers from planina Blato to sedlo Hribarič and then to Zasavska koča and sleep in the winter room!
Is there too much snow and can this tour be safely done? Half are experienced hikers, half are inexperienced!

@vrenzmil: On 4.6.2017 the crossing under Vršaci was still in snow, dry only in Triglav Lakes valley, Za Kopico path has snow patches. Bivouac has space for 24 people. Good luck

We went up Triglav Lakes valley, down Velski valley, so hard to say. That crossing I just photographed, we didn't cross it. Best

Yesterday via Komarča to Prehodavci. Through Komarča there's a huge waterfall that doesn't pose problems, except it showers you wellvelik nasmeh. But higher up you need to cross this torrent and you can't go along the road, I crossed it a few meters above the road. At 1200 meters we reach this torrent again, there is a fixed rope and pegs but the water is too high, so you have to choose your own path. I went directly in front of the water up steep grass. Further the path is still dry for a while but above 1400 meters snow starts, which doesn't pose problems to Ledvička Lake. Higher it's somewhere between 15 and 25 cm, depending on how much is drifted. The path at Twin Lake is underwater in some places, so you have to go a bit your own way nasmeh

In winter it's often the case that you see so many skis stuck in the snow in front of the bivouac as in front of some ski resort tavern. If not more velik nasmeh

Hello,
Is the bivouac surely equipped with blankets so there's no need to bring a sleeping bag?!

GričarA7. 11. 2018 21:25:40
If you're going to the bivouac intending to sleep over, at least take a sheet.
