Our guide Marko prepared a two-day tour for us. Ten of us gathered, we started on Thursday at planina Blato. First ascent to planina Jezero, past Dedno polje, to planina Ovčarija, where we turned right to Štapci. Ascent to Tičarica, Kopica, Zelnarica, long ridge, from Blato to Zelnarica marked 6 hours and 1500m gain. Path full of gentians then, beautiful, panoramic, but requires strength and energy. Some sections need more caution. Met young family on the way, admirable, with sons Oskar and Erazem (ca 7-9 years). From Velika Tičarica descent and continuation to Prehodavci, took us ca 2 more hours. Many faster of course... At Zasavska koča at Prehodavci our accommodation was waiting, reserved 3 weeks ahead for weekday night! On Friday we split into two groups. Our three boldest with guide over Veliko Špičje. Thanks to guide, they successfully did demanding tour. Rest went slowly through Valley of Seven Lakes. Observed nature, previous day's ridge and Veliko Špičje ridge, lakelets, flowers... Met quite a few hikers, some with helmet clipped on and in sneakers. At hut longer rest, blueberry strudel and waited for our best. Glad ours did Veliko Špičje well, demanding terrain with many accidents sadly. Whole group then path over Prode past Ovčarija, Dedno polje, Planina Jezero to Blato. All grateful to guide. Total over 31 km, ca 2000m or more for other group. Unforgettable two days...
