The stamp is in the Jezerski vrh inn at the border crossing.

Today we were on Pristovski Storžič. We went the longer way because Krainerjeva pot is closed due to forestry works.

We set off to Pristovski Storžič this afternoon via the easier path. Krainerjeva pot is no longer closed unless we missed something. The path first goes to Pasterkov vrh then to Kepp, where it joins the path from Kort. It was interesting to orient by Austrian markers, since then it entirely runs in Austria. On the way we met tourists from Berlin and foresters working. No stamp at the top nor in the inn (asked the owner), they only have Jezerski vrh stamp. The view was great from Obir(Ojstrc), Kamnik Alps to Storžič and Košuta. Adding photos but they don't show what you see for real, so come visit Pristovski Storžič, you won't regret it

Finally we lost patience waiting for a really nice sunny weekend in the mountains too... and today we climbed Pristovski Storžič with the family. We didn't expect much from the views, but we enjoyed anyway. We ascended via Krainerjeva pot and descended the longer and easier one, which nevertheless requires quite some caution especially in the upper part due to slippery rocks and roots. At the top it was quite warm despite cloudiness and some fog. On the way back we picked the last raspberries and blueberries of the year

I'm wondering if anyone has been up there these days to say what the "conditions" are like?

Was there on Saturday, up the more demanding path and return via easier path, snow quite low, but nice walking without problems

This year no one has written about Pristovski Storžič yet. It's included in the Jezersko mountain trail, which I'm doing this year too. Last year I was already up there. Before our border I left the car and went up the climbing Kreiner path. At the pasture with two huts turn left, right goes the usual through forests, which we usually return on. The pasture seems more abandoned. The path safely, also with cables, leads to the ridge and soon to the top. The view is magnificent. The cross stings us a bit with its inscription. Then down the usual, via Pastirkov vrh. Picking mushrooms and blueberries is indeed forbidden. The path is well marked, can't get lost. But years ago I did get lost and came out about a kilometer below the border crossing. The forest was a bit torn up then, now it's fine. Quite a few hikers. Even a larger group of young people from the camp in Jezersko. Weather mediocre, cooled down a lot, the path from both sides lower down is quite grassy, but the grass wasn't wet. I started really only at ten-thirty in the morning.

Oh my, I was on this hill last Friday with a friend and her 6-year-old son. We took the same circular path, stuffed ourselves with raspberries, blueberries and strawberries, and even all the showers avoided us. It was great, and the pace - because of the child - was suitable for my knee. We met only one German-speaking man.

Nothing to it, time for a quickie again. After work I quickly get on the bike and from Preddvor head towards Jezersko border crossing. There I hide the bike a bit, change shoes and hop - towards Pristovski. Up the easier, down the steeper (and faster). Unfortunately on the top due to divine views I couldn't fully relax, home was far ... Grateful mountain with exceptional view! Cheers.

Yesterday's weather perfect for a short afternoon hike, I chose Pristovski via the shorter, sunny one. On top light wind, rest in shelter, I decide to wait for sunset, although the sun is still high and it seems it won't set for a long time, soon I witness the sunset, sun sets into heart of the Julian Alps. Quickly cools down, cap and gloves come in handy, so I have to hurry to the starting point, arrive in pitch dark.

Finally on the summit on Saturday. We went up Krainerjeva and were thrilled. Nice dynamic route, surroundings constantly change, views on KSA magnificent, along the route all the time, even at scrambles, flowers. Climbing part completely easy and relatively short. Cables there probably more for other seasons, of course in summer they come in handy to pull up a bit. Views misty but beautiful. Few visitors, although not completely alone at the top. Down via easier route, which was a big mistake. Route is deadly boring and drags on. Another advantage of this route (both directions) in summer is most of it in shade. Saturday slight breeze too, so no special heat in morning hours.

Yesterday we went to Pristovski Storžič via Krainer Steig path, which is partially demanding, more scenic and much more interesting than the path past Kepp pasture. Cold at top, but we enjoyed wonderful views anyway.
