Rozi, have you heard of Račka gates???
That's how it started years ago when I first heard of this path zadrega

and a couple years later the chance to go velik nasmeh

...walked, experienced and traversed it and I can't believe how much wilderness around Raduha, how many little paths, not even talking about Račka gates, this natural "phenomenon" totally enchanted me and then lets you down...wonderful!!!

Initial forest walk was veeery sweaty, but soon reached Račka gates and poetry began which intensifies to the top. The path was very much to my liking, really varied, runs on completely natural passages and ridges, when you see it you think no way, then it pleasantly surprises, real enjoyment.
I wouldn't add to path description, geppo and team are experts of these areas... nasmeh

Račka Gates and SW ridge
Today with colleagues from NE Slovenia.
Stanko's repeat tour and Marjan's first.
Start at Račnik farm at 7 o'clock. Gates at 8:35. Climbing through the arch and up the gully past the cave. To Pomol again a bit our own way, so as not to repeat, 10:00. In beautiful sunny morning continued along the ridge and meanwhile a bit exploring. Mali rt at 12:00 (sunny no wind). We climb to the ridge. Stanko and Marjan continue to summit of Raduha and back in 25 min. Descent to cross and along ridge to marked. At spring above Račnik farm refresh at 14:45.

Nooo, I managed it too! Whoever seeks finds, but you need very good orientation too, the path is hunting and unmarked as for Račka Gates. I waited long and searched for a guide, even on this portal.... Couldn't wait any more and on New Year's Day..... But now I photographed the whole path, so if someone wants to visit this NATURAL BRIDGE and see it live, they will surely have much easier work now. Highly recommend - Very, very nice and worth every effort!!! velik nasmeh

You can even climb on the NATURAL BRIDGE itself.... OK, correction Račka GATES, but for me it'll be more Rački BRIDGE. WILL REPEAT IT SOON FOR SURE!!!! mežikanje

Now also the ascent to the top of the bridge.

Once again: Heartfelt thanks to colleague Dejan for the wonderful gift for my 33rd - I'm using it diligently! Thanks once more!

YES, true. That's why I gave even more detailed photo material, just in case. This is really a true gem in this part of Slovenia and I warmly recommend it to all.... But warning: Very steep and fitness-demanding terrain, but worth the effort mežikanje

For us in good shape, not at all. But if some average hiker or someone not moving much goes, let them prepare mežikanje

Yeah I remember well. It was nice, and Utah was nice too. Thanks. That ridge Matkovo okno all the way to Mrzla gora I'm still waiting for someone to guide me......... Also someone promised me the north Triglav face, and I waited and waited, but nothing and nothing..... I was so angry and disappointed, but in the end found someone, paid him and climbed the German route.... NOW enough of this, doesn't belong in this section, more in private messages.

For today's ascent over the vault of the Gate and then along "Chamois tracks" to the top of Raduha, it would be hard to choose better weather. mežikanje

The path along the ridge wasn't wet at all, so climbing was pure pleasure.
Descent we did a bit our own way past the salt licks and then along the marked path to Račnik. Well, there the rain washed us. zadrega

The path to Račnik in the upper part, where there were plenty of game trails, is newly marked...praiseworthy. nasmeh
