The line of hikers in the morning in Logarska convinced me to head to Koroška Rinka. I assumed there wouldn't be crowds from the Okrešelj direction… and there weren't.nasmeh
I also made a quick trip to Kranjska and Štajerska, and descended via Mala to Turski žleb and down to Okrešelj.
On the path from Mrzli dol there are some torn steel cables, from the Jezerska side after renovation, of course all OK.

I like to go up here as much as possible, every year. So yesterday at seven I started from the cable car parking lot on the favorite path via Žmavčarje. A hundred meters below the bivouac where the snow starts, I meet a foreigner returning. Besides Matija who went to Skuta, two skiers and nine hikers who went to Turska gora, five of them from a well-known mountaineering club with a dog. No one went to my hill, but there were fresh tracks on it. Snow mushy, rotten even at the top. Unfortunately the weather didn't hold to the forecast, the worst was just when I was at the top. Bivouac interior neglected, door latch destroyed, trash and food also put me in a bad mood. On the descent to the scree I enjoyed sliding on the snow, lower it was warm and I changed into short clothes. Next year again.
As far as I remember, without changes.1

Great!

I assume that with such snow (except gaiters) the winter gear stayed in the backpack the whole way?

Handball players excellent, Pogi really good, Gajser good.nasmeh
Not completely, @Tomco, over the years I've learned that on some sections the layer of rotten snow can be very thin, with ice underneath. In that case, putting on crampons on steeper slopes is risky, especially if you don't carry an ice axe with youvelik nasmeh. Of course, on descent it's a real pleasure sliding in boots at a suitable slope angle and visible runout.

Today on all Rinkas and Turska, via Žmavčerjev to the bivouac below Skuta and further. For Kranjska Rinka I needed winter gear, … otherwise all other paths dry and normally passable. Just that Saharan sand messed a bit with the views.

I was yesterday on Rinkas - winter gear no longer needed. At two spots towards Kranjska Rinka I had to cross small snow patches, but probably total length about 10m. Kick a bit into the snow for a step, and it's fine.

On Sunday to Rinke (well, 2 Rinkasvelik nasmeh), up from the direction of Savinjsko sedlo, down through Turski žleb. The gully is heavily eroded after floods. Especially uphill it can be quite strenuous. We met a hiker who tried it and turned back.
It was apparently a "snake day"...3 snakes on the path during descent velik nasmeh

Yesterday on Rinkas and Turska gora.
Starting point: V Koncu via Žmavcarje past bivouac below Skuta.
Snow needs to be crossed below Kranjska Rinka. Yes, even without winter gear. But to Turska gora you can bypass the snow above the exit from Turski žleb.
On all Rinkas we were alone, some visited only Turska gora.
Wonderful day spent in KSA.

Yesterday on a longer circular tour.

Started from Logarska and past the saddle continued to Ledinski vrh. From there to Koroška and then also Kranjska Rinka. To the top of Koroška you need to cross a couple of snow patches on the ledges. Snow not yet frozen, but I went over with crampons or avoided them. Towards Kranjska there are still some patches, but no problem. Until then I had warm clear weather, then strong south wind started blowing and fogged the Kamnik side. In Kotljiči old song with faded markers, to Okrešelj partly destroyed path condition due to past storms.

To Koroška via Slovenska.
Despite holidays and nice weather, alone on the path to the summit and back. Workers renovating Kranjska koča don't count.
The gully before Slovenska gets deeper with every visit. Excellently renovated protections in the upper part still hold.
Road from pasture through forest to parking lot got new surface and was currently closed from ramp due to works.

Congratulations Niki for the second gold medal just won.
Today I head out from home even earlier than on Wednesday, leave the car exactly at six when the headlamp battery is no longer needed. I was pleased there were quite a few cars at the cable car and spotted two lights in the upper part of the Žmavčarji on the way there. Later I realize those were the only two who went to Kranjska Rinka today and we reached the summit simultaneously.
Walking through the forest a real pleasure, snow starts only at the holes. Put on crampons, snow mostly frozen so good progress. Bivouac doors repaired, stayed quite a while as had to change most clothes. Warning: step stool to enter bivouac very wobbly, careful!!! Above bivouac seek harder snow patches or sink to knees quickly. In amphitheater and above real struggle. At Kranjska Rinka summit strong gusts at times, on Štajerska and Mali could wear short sleeves. On return snow below bivouac much softened but no new slides noticed, started from bivouac at noon sharp. On both trail sections wire ropes very poor, better ignore them.
From in front of the bivouac I point the phone first towards my mountain from the day before yesterday.1

Beautiful days are really inviting to the white peaks. A month (and even an hour) later than last year, I leave the parking lot in front of the cable car and head up the steep Žmavčarjev slope. The path is pleasant, dry, in some places too much foliage (which was quite annoying on the descent), the recent strong wind also felled some bokali. An unknown benefactor replaced the destroyed lower steel cable with a thin, shiny rope, I hope it will serve its purpose for long. Let me also mention the upper one - better not to touch it! Snow starts a little above the forest exit, at the caves. I hoped it would at least be a bit frozen, but nothing doing. I put on gaiters, sinking to the knees, even higher. Either quit or engage the reducernasmeh. Luckily I maintain it well, higher up the conditions improved somewhat, below the long, final flank before the bivouac I also don crampons. Horror. It took me a full two and a half hours to the bivouac. Let me mention that in the middle section of the aforementioned slightly icy flank, at the last moment I dodged a 'fast approaching' stone, which could have been seriously fatal for the shin or knee on impact. Well, at least on the return I had no such fear, because I knew the snow would be soft by then and the stones would be stuck in the snow. In the bivouac I change clothes, drink a beer, photograph the surroundings and head in super conditions toward my Rink wreath. Yeah, almost forgot. The CARELESS ONES have again left both bivouac doors open, although both latches are nicely repaired, just a little effort is needed to make the latch lock properly. I really don't understand such irresponsible people.jezenjezenjezen
If the weather forecasters missed the temperature, they nailed the wind, which above 2200 m was quite annoying, especially on the highest Kranjska Rinka, which I visit first. Visibility fantastic, not a single cloud, time to spare, so I decide to visit all four darlings. Except for a small group on Turska gora and a young couple climbing in Kogl, no living souls anywhere.
Quite a few photos again, hope I'm not repeating myself too much with them.

Yesterday, of course! You're probably right, on Sunday and Monday I had demanding running activities, so I had to give my knee some rest on the windless Tuesday. Well, it wasn't that bad, which is evident from the number of photosnasmeh, already between Kranjska and Štajerska Rinka the difference was obvious, at the bivouac even short sleeves, as you mention.
I also need to go up from 'that' side once. Turski žleb offered me a special experience on one of the approaches many, many years ago, as the path in the wall with the cable was several meters in a snow tunnel.
