From Ljubelj to Preval there is still snow in some sections, but no major issues.

Begunjska Vrtača 11.4. Snow starts around 1400, 1500 m. On Rožca nasty slabs possible as seen from afar. Snow up top is wind slabbed and stuff might slide on them.

Me and my buddy headed to Julijce this morning, and passing by the view up there confirmed what you say, misace. Gotta wait a bit longer. Thanks.

Checked it live yesterday. Snow from Prevale in places well over the knee (sometimes "hollow", otherwise holds well). 3/4 dry trail that survived winter ok. Full winter gear with me...

Thanks misace for the report. Sunday it'll be a whole different story, at least per weather forecast.

Today to Roblek from Draga via Luknja, Planina Preval and Rože. From Preval the trail was fully snowy but not icy, so walking was a real pleasure. A bit of cold wind, but hey it's winter now.

Sunday, 16.12... Lots of parked cars in Draga. Road to Planina Planinica just lightly snowy. Sanded. Higher up more wintry vibe. Trail over Roža to Preval and from hut to Begunjščica trampled. Many visitors at hut. Open every weekend. Great views. https://jelenkamenmajdag.blogspot.com/2018/12/na-roblek.html

Yesterday from Ljubelj over Preval and further over Roža. Path completely snow-free and dry. At Roblek fewer visitors, later back at Preval quite lively.

Today to Roblek hut. On the path like an anthill. Upper part of path snowy and slippery, so small crampons were quite useful. At the top slightly windy. Since no space in the hut, we found shelter on the bench in front of the hut. Fantastic views. Really fits after such a gloomy December.

Hi, has anyone walked these days from Tinckova hut “via that steep” to Roblek hut? Wondering if there are still any snowy/icy parts on the path.

Starting point, Dom v Dragi. The road below and most of the path due to thawing during the day and frost at night mostly icy. Without crampons I don't recommend the hike to Roblek in these conditions. The sun was hiding today.
