Today up again. This time in warm and completely dry conditions. Teloh is also at the top already in the last phase of blooming, tea still hot and sweet.
But I was the whole descent under strong impression of barbarism, which I long thought couldn't happen in the mountains.

Yesterday I hit upon a really pleasant day. Good visibility, little wind, it wasn't too cold either. Cerknica is snow-free, on the top there was a good 15cm of it. I warm up with tea, walk to the summit and clear snow from the bench by the flag. Still need to be careful up there for a couple days, as loggers are 'operating' near the trail. On descent I used sliding step in several places.

Today it's a somewhat different picture from the last post. The path is completely dry, backpack not needed, credit card neither, as the entrance is still double-locked, but you still get tasty, hot, sweet tea, and other drinks on a self-service basis. Just after entering the terrace there's a new neat wooden counter where you can choose refreshments. I hope that in two weeks I can already serve a photo of the completely renovated ground floor interior.

Today on Slivnica, first time from Grahovo. Path steadily uphill, medium steep, but not long. Good hiker does it in under an hour.
New hut keeper nicely arranged the hut and surroundings, so it's really pleasant for the eye (and tummy).

Crazy... They won't last even one full season with those prices! Although the new tenant fixed it up nicely and is very friendly, but... it all starts and ends with money. Sadly

The social committee of PD Notranjska lobbied so that the PZS board at its last meeting included the Dom na Slivnici in the register of Slovenian mountain huts (until then it was a tavern). The main lobbyist was PD Cerknica and the president of MDO Notranjska, also from Cerknica.
Immediately they jacked up prices to the level 'befitting' mountain huts. Excuse will be as usual "Občina Cerknica".
