You have nicely photographed the Kamnik Alps, Karmen. On the mentioned picture are Grintovec, Skuta (the highest) and Rinke.

Blueberries are there, really fewer than last year, but still nicely pickable (with fingers of course, not with rakes that destroy the blueberry bushes).

Today we jumped to Smrekovec hoping for sun and we really were lucky. We parked at Vrnivšek and headed on the marked path to Smrekovec. The path is nicely marked but very very wet and slippery, we crossed the stream about six times, only once there was a little bridge, the rest more Robinson-like. At the hut some people, on the summit fewer. No snow to the hut, from the hut to the summit some small patches. From Smrekovec summit to Krnes, we regretted it quite a bit towards the end, snow on the whole path sinking to the knees. The relatively easy path thus became quite strenuous... From Krnes to the hut we took the road path, which is not much better but sinks only to the ankles. Return to the car via Atelšek saddle because we didn't want that wet ditch again. The whole trip was nice if you subtract the sinking slog.

Today we went to the terrain to check the snow amount on Smrekovec. From the Ljubno side the road was a bit snowy in the morning, of course plowed. At the turnoff to Kugovnik farm we left the car. Snow more than half a meter. To the hut and Smrekovec summit even more, at the summit we estimated a good meter. Unfortunately the summit was foggy, windy and snowing, skiing on Smrekovec meadow groping in the fog. But it was still fine, just to have real winter again, at least up there.

We walk through the Smrekovec ridge in nice sunny weather, at Komna, one could pick nateg, because we are not here for that, we don't do it. At the hut follows a drink and gear repair. Follows the walk to Sleme-Križan.

LOKA - SMREKOVEC RIDGE - SLEME - KRIŽAN.
In a shorter steep section, another strong shower soaks us to Vodol pasture. At Knezova planina, the mares wish for our group's company. Jealous stallion drives them away from us. It was a short clash, we stunned continue, alternating the lead. Zdravko, hope I named him right, was the most prepared, (I think he's capable of crossing K-24, 20 H.) In such weather, feet dragged. Besides showers, hail also added its contribution. Despite that we arrived at 14h at the hut. Here we change clothes and shoes, eat beans and hit the road. Now we had a nice dry path, even the sun showed up, except for light drizzling no rain. During the walk our column broke up.
