That's how it started. Today I did a circular tour to Storžič through Žrelo, in between also did Psica. Weather was comparable to a warm spritzer. Because of that, there were no views from the top. Nevertheless, I managed to take some photos.

terminator - yesterday even hotter on the path Mače - Kališče - Bašeljski preval - Storžič. On the zig-zag path under Kališče like in a sauna, on the path from Bašeljski preval not so hot, but no views. Lots of hikers from all directions.

Today we did the ascent through Žrelo, return via Škarjev rob. The early hour proved to be the right decision, as it was pretty hot on the return. Otherwise the path without particularities, protections ok. Views excellent. Only minus to the summit itself, completely soiled with sheep shit  ; better to move a bit from the top to snack.

We too on 25.6. trudged uphill through sheep shit  , shoes cleaned quickly over Škarjev rob, snacked also a bit lower.

Yesterday, after some years, again on Storžič, this time with Drago. Path from Mač to Kališče poorly marked, further ok; otherwise nice day, but midday clouds rushed to the top, but then we were already drinking beer at Kališče. L.P.

Yesterday perfect day for ascent to Storžič via the varied ridge of Psica. On the ridge just enough wind so it wasn't hot, weather otherwise cloudless. On the path fully occupied, almost no time for views, ridge varied, scrambling up and down and around. But the tour is worth every effort, richer than the other ascents to Storžič, surpasses also the ascent via the SW ridge.
Descent via Javorniški graben, rest at the alpine pasture of the same name, above which a mountain eagle glided royally. This planina is really beautiful, and the little path further to V. Poljane is magical too. Tour conclusion in Povlje, thus about 1500 m elevation gain.

My colleague and I were also on Storžič yesterday via Žrelo. The path is beautifully routed, well protected. About the sheep droppings on the summit, one word is enough - disaster.

For tons of trash in Slovenian mountains dumped by humans, mistake of planet Earth, 'one word is enough - catastrophe' and not for little droppings on any summit in Slovenia. In Austria, Italy and elsewhere in the Balkans, no one is bothered by farm animals in the mountains, but here they are. It seems some have become too 'lordly'. Perhaps '@jocjoc' too.

It's interesting that no grass grows on top of Storžič, consequently sheep have no pasture, so it would be good to consider keeping sheep lower in the valley.
Otherwise animals don't bother me at all.

Jocjoc, maybe it would be right to propose adopting some regulation by which sheep would have to be kept lower in the valley. You would carry out the supervision.

On Sunday when I was on Storžič there were really whole layers of sheep remains on the top, it was really unpleasant, practically nowhere to sit, no appetite to eat on such a top either. The stench really unbearable, so it really spoils the nice expectation a bit. So on the top you really can't enjoy, you just have to move lower. We all love animals, but no one likes the stench! So at this time no enjoyment on top of Storžič, but definitely on the paths to it!

What bothers me are those little pricks who shower stones onto the path so everything slips and rolls, that you can't even step normally!
