Well, beyond all moralizing, does anyone really exist who isn't bothered by it? We all know about Storžič and it's really not pleasant. If someone prefers to sit on droppings rather than grass, I think they're in the great minority.

 I agree too, I got to the top quickly, took pics and retreated lower where there are flowers and fresh air. But I know it's not the only peak with such privileges.

When wandering various pathless areas, especially below 2000m, I always think to disturb the area's residents as little as possible and leave minimal traces.
For me that's a big value (maybe for others too), to visit any peak on any "path", whether path or peak shitty or not.

path without issues, at three spots just near snow, no need to step on it anywhere.

Yesterday after long time back on Storžič. Soon above Bašeljski preval through steep gullyette to edge and bit higher descent right to eastern flank. Since exploratory urge grabbed me again cut it to summit via prominent scree gully (two I hops). Fun it was.

On Sunday a group of three Prekmurje hikers headed to Storžič. We chose the path leading over Velika Poljana and Psica to Storžič summit. The path over Psica is very demanding with lots of ups and downs and very adrenaline-packed.
It is necessary to emphasize that the path is very steep, crumbly and requires great care; helmets are recommended too. From Storžič we returned via circular path over planina Javornik. This path is well marked from the hut on planina but in very bad condition due to lots of fallen trees.
