Storzic, 2.5.2020
I spent some time looking for the right parking lot described in the tour: Laško - Storžič (via Kališče).
Well, when I found it I easily walked towards Kališče. The hut seems to be preparing to open its doors. A bit further the phone rings and my friend asks if I'm going to Storzic? Of course. Oh super, me too, but I went via Skarjev rob - see you up there!
She really overtook me, but she didn't want to descend on the same side - there's still quite a lot of snow, full winter gear needed, and it still sinks and slips. We waited a bit for conditions for photos then escaped back to Kališče before the rain. Still, just before the end of the ridge we got a shower of frozen rain, then it blew the stuff towards Ljubljana. You can see a nice view of how it's raining on the panoramic photo too.
Then we went to the hut below Storzic for her car, then to lunch. Great day

I'd go from Bašelj village, is it possible to do some circular tour from there?
or which path to storžič is somehow the nicest now in these conditions?

Today I forgot two dog leashes (red and gray) at the top of Storžič.
If someone finds them I'll be immensely grateful. Of course I'll buy the finder a beer too

Today on the path Dom pod Storžičem - Storžič (via Škarjev rob). Still winter conditions in upper part. No go without crampons and ice axe.

Hi Planinecizgg......I went 25.4 from Laško via southwest ridge, path was dry. Good luck and lots of enjoyment.

Hi,
last weekend I didn't go to Storžič due to slightly bad weather. I'm curious about the paths leading from the Mountain hut under Storžič? Are they dry?

On Monday I went up the gully and there is no problem there. Just on the traverse there is still some snow
Down via Škarjev rob, there in the upper part a couple of snow patches where caution is needed and winter gear is not superfluous. Probably there is less snow every day.

TinaB, in the neighboring section (commented trips) there is current data on conditions on the path over Škarjev rob.

We were yesterday up through Žrelo and down Škarjev rob. At 2 places a bit of snow not hindering passage, practically just step over. Take helmet obligatory, some fall down .
