I checked the PZS register of hiking trails and it's really not there anymore. But it's still marked on a map a few years old.
I hiked it a few years ago and it stayed in my memory as nice and solitary, that's why I recommended it. At that time we had no orientation issues (some forest road was already there before the forest hut).
It would be good to update the trail description on hribi.net to unmarked trail, as it's obviously abandoned.

I'll reply backwards (Nino - Pečovnik - Vršnik trail), so we collect data on the forum. As Janez S. wrote, it's worth hiking the path upwards the first time. Below it's basically a logging track, above remnants of the path that ends at a small pasture, as marked on the map. Quite demanding orientation if we're not used to such things. Hard to follow it downwards first time, as it's mostly abandoned, and lower in the steep part there are also numerous rocky barriers. Time-wise you don't save much (hiking on it takes at least three quarters of an hour if searching first time). If at all, the choice for descent is the path towards Gašpric and walk on the road to Rogovilec. It's trodden, with numerous benches and partially secured, but we have to reckon with long demanding traverses right above dozens-of-meters forest cliffs. If you slip, that's probably it. I advise against it in wet or with too little mileage.
As mentioned, shortcuts can be made on the road from Knez, even without them descent walking is at most under an hour. Beautiful view along the path to the north face of Križevnik, Raduha, Roban. And right along the Sušna path (if anyone's been up there, they'll know what I mean). lp

@andi2, thanks. I went to check those trails. You're right. No gain at Govec or Rogovilec. Road with shortcuts is quite enough.
P.s. new logging track completely destroyed the hiking trail mrk pogled

Yes, new logging roadmrk pogled, no comment. Same with marking of starts and path to Strelovec. But the hill is not guilty at all, in July it offered me more in successive trips than I ever expectednasmehlp, Andrej

Agreed. Poor those going to Strelovec from Roban first time zmeden
If anyone reads this, remember at this photo don't turn left to forest but right (past barrier) to "new" mountain signs. They direct left. If not enough roads yet velik nasmeh continue right and at fork left. Here to new logging road to cairns. Then left uphill velik nasmeh
Not left, but right! The wooden sign is no longer there. It lies on the ground (under the red cross) :)1

Strelovec from Roban, past Knez, over Lucjan. Descent from the summit past Knezova pl. back to Knez. At the mentioned junction above, there is now a new sign for Strelovec. Also higher up, there are some new markings and direction signs. Between Knezova pl. and the Strelovec summit, there is 50-70 cm of snow on the path. The middle part of the path between Knezova pl. and the Knez homestead is destroyed by last year's nature intervention, read logging road. It is marked at key spots, so orientation is no problem, but it is a real mess there. Sadly, another path that was not meant to stay as it was. Lp.

At Govc they're still renovating and I think it's closed.
Zoki reminded me yesterday of the Strelovec ridge.
My buddy and I walked the whole ridge today. Plenty of snow still, and caution is needed. Dangerous snow patches, under which pockets/holes form. You notice them usually when you sink to your ass, or it all collapses.
We started in Robanov kot and again found a good shortcut for crossing the road. I hope it stays in my memory.
Strelovec ridge still in snow, which causes no special problems.
Only a slip to the north side would be fatal. From Knezova planina directly through steep forest towards Robanova planšarija. At the start still plenty of icy snow. Consequently plenty of falls.
Total 14 km and 7 hours of strenuous walking. The sun scorched my face quite a bit. No wind higher up. In the valley strong SW and +26°C.

We ascended to Strelovec from Logarska dolina, precisely from the Lenar farm. To Plesnikova planina the path has no issues, just a directional arrow at the crossing of the track with the forest road would be welcome. Further to Logarska planina the path is overgrown in spots and hard to follow. Some markings are needed too. From the saddle between Logarska and Icmankova planina the path is well trodden and without issues. We descended under the cliffs of Ut and Krofička to Klemenča jama. The path crosses 2 snow patches, which pose no problems.

Plesnik -Strelovec-Kl.Jama (07.08.21)

Past the Palenk waterfall we head under Rkljeva peč. I'm really curious how many have walked here towards Icmankov stan this year. Could almost say it's nearly pathless all the way to the junction, where you arrive from above Plesnikova planina. Quite a few fallen trees, but they could be bypassed nicely. We meet hikers only at Icmankova planina. Lots of raspberries along the path. From Strelovec we continue straight and head down transversely to the right (direction Kl.jama). Nice path, just the wooden steps need a bit of repair. The hut has huge crowds. At Dom Planincev they wait for me while I fetch the car and we drive to Logarski kot. Best ambience.

Morning at the empty Robanov parking lot 0°C.
First I explore and look for shortcuts, to spend as little time as possible on the road to Knez/Haude. Sometimes it works, sometimes I wade through overgrown slopes. It seems familiar somewhere, maybe I've walked here before? It was strenuous!
But I manage to reach Knez homestead exactly via the logging trail. Can't decide: ridge or marked path? The marked one prevails, which I haven't done yet - at least I don't remember. I feel the longer absence from high mountains and today it's not going well.
On the way I meet a group to the ridge. Here we sit in the warm sun.
Part of Špilak already in shade. I find the approach to the gully and am quite surprised at the start. In about two years since I last descended, the gully has changed considerably. Avalanches and eroding torrential waters have done their work!!
In between I try to find what I've been searching for some time, don't find it. Steep, slippery, full of fallen leaves, a branch hits my eye, I give up. Tough descent to the logging trail. Then I hurry to the kot. Robanov kot already in full winter shade and until sunset the peaks will see the sun.
More than seven hours of partly strenuous rambling on a beautiful sunny day. At 16:00 back at the start +6°C.

8.7.2022 Strelovec ( Z&Z )
I put this description under Strelovec, though we only sensed its summit above us while walking some elevation meters below it (50 to 100m). We intended to reach the top, but didn't!
Rain accompanied Zoki and me to Klemenčeva jama. There we took some time to think and decided on backup plan B. We turned towards Strelovec. When the final meters to the goal were missing, we veered down and searched for the abandoned shepherd hut on Klemenčeve poljane under Krofička. Memories bind me, as we found it by chance with my son in 2008. Zoki learned of its existence from old records and found it years ago.
But soon after revisiting it today, misfortune struck. Chamois above us triggered rocks and a larger stone hit Zoki in the rib area (sideways). We didn't hear the stone because high grass muffled its rolling. Just a dull thud, pain.
After the first minutes of shock and surprise, we decided to descend via the hunter's path to Plesnikova planina. The pains are severe, the ribs probably survived the hit and there are no signs of internal injuries yet.
The descent is tough. The hunter's path is quite abandoned, demanding. Above the steep gully, my foothold breaks. Luckily, I grab a dwarf pine branch and hang a few meters above the gully. At Plesnikova planina, we take time to check injuries, have a snack and decide on the next steps. Zoki holds up well despite the pain and we head along the marked path to Klemenčeva jama. It's dragging!
At the cave, a short break and then to the starting point. After 8 hours, we are at the car. Zoki with pains in the right rib area, bloody elbow. Me, muddy, tumbled and happy that we both safely reached the valley! Here we learn there is a strong northerly wind on Ojstrica, cold, foggy.
Morning at the start +10°C, on return +19°C
cheers

Definitely a very unpleasant experience.
The world above Plesnikova planina is wild and unpredictable, which we both experienced yesterday. A seemingly safe path can be very dangerous and as someone who mostly hikes alone, I had to think what the outcome could be if you're alone in such a situation. I've injured myself on hikes before, but nothing like this! It all happened in a second. I spot chamois and as always stop, whisper to Zlatko, look chamois! One adult and one smaller, about ten meters ahead, obviously we scared them. I step forward, then for a second hear sound like hoofbeats and think there's a third running past us and in the instant I turn right, I see the outline of a stone already aimed to hit me. I think I tensed my body in the last moment and did what I could before collapsing. Zlatko took my backpack off my shoulders and we both stood in shock. For the next ten minutes I didn't know if I could continue and we were already thinking where to get to call for help. Every time I tried to stand, I almost fell over, pain was bad. First check breathing and since normal, calm down. Feel for signs of broken ribs, seems nothing, just strong sharp and dull pain from impact. Slowly we pull ourselves together and slowly down. Four hours walk to car were tough for both. In between Zlatko's slip, luckily no injury!
At home, checked impact site again and cooled it well. Realized stone hit lower arm above elbow and edge of back muscle protecting chest. Luck in misfortune! Anywhere else the stone hit, except backpack, would've been worse!
Today the spot is inflamed. Need rest and still hope it's just strong hit without other injuries. Happens!
That's life, stay safe!

Oh, bad luck, really bad. Good there were two, at least for moral support. Yes, chamois can be more dangerous than bear or tick, so I try to be as loud as possible when alone. Happened to me too, not once, on slope to sp. Kotlu (MMP), about 15min from bivouac under Špik. Luckily stone whizzed by, so I'm always extra careful there.
With such injury and pain, could have called help without bad conscience, especially knowing rescuers are airborne countless times because of some 'show-offs'.
