Yes. Look e.g. under trip 'Tamar Hut - Slemenova Špica', where you find info on what time of day the road is passable or open. (paid)

Road to Tamar is open all the time and nothing paid there except tea in hut

Road open from 18:00 to 6:00 and from 12:00 to 14:00. At exit between 12:00 and 14:00 need to pay parking.
That's the system as it writes on this page and also on others.
So gotta go on foot or arrive before 6 which is almost impossible.

To Tamar no car allowed. Only to Planica where parking paid, then on foot. No barrier just sign driving prohibited. Checked 16.7.09 when I was at Black Waters LP

traffic sign: «Prohibited traffic for all motor vehicles» (II-18). Sign supplemented
by additional plate: Allowed for landowners, emergency vehicles, JP Komunala vehicles,
TNP vehicles and Tamar Hut caretakers vehicles.

Beside the "driving prohibited" sign there is an old sign "Road open from 18:00 to 6:00 and 12:00 to 14:00......", so confusion is well taken care of. The caretaker in Tamar told me wardens go 3-4 times a week and charge 40 euro fines.

The road is open through and also payable ca 2€.
Toll collector at junction responsible for all info. Receipt says Slovenian Ski Assoc., OK Planica.
Paid Thursday.

No, 2 weeks ago I was there and read the nice sign. It says that or as STEFANB wrote. And I just left the car at RTV house (ski jump) and went to the hut on foot.
Sure, someone can be found who has a pic of the fine...

The Tamar waterfalls are already nicely frozen - today two were climbing the waterfall more on the right side

With all this snowing I was really drawn to Tamar... and decided for a night walk... I named the path ghosts' path... why is clear from the pics. About the hut itself I'll refrain from comments because I don't like criticizing. But that in winter it's more "icy" inside than outside isn't good either. And I don't mean temperature, radiators were working... Still a wonderful soul walk amid all this whiteness and silence, under full moon I'll repeat it for sure.

Lunca, also I have many times held back from comment or criticism about the Tamar hut. If I'd change something in this hut it'd be the staff because very cold and unfriendly. From them you simply don't get a friendly word let alone short talk about nature or mountains. You get feeling why'd you even come like some don't bother. The lady who served me was so cold like a spritzer as they said before. To friend who was with me I said what strange behavior and he agreed too. Think such people don't belong in mountain huts. But again don't know if right I even posted but for me friendly word means much more than one jota or goulash. Nice greetings.

I too have that feeling about the Tamar hut. And something more, probably aimed at the owner of the PD Medvode hut: wherever you go, huts are better maintained, everywhere something happens, but in Tamar time has stopped long ago - and such nice surroundings. Maybe something will change in the distant future if Planica gets Nordic World Championships.
